240707 Diary - Awal Muharram

It was the middle of the long weekend. Tomorrow would be a holiday, carrying Awal Muharram from today. Again, we spent the majority of today outside.
After the ward round, I took Anita to Tamarind Square as she learned that there was a pop-up store selling the Knafeh chocolate she was crazy about. In fact, we were their first customer for today.
Tamarind Square had gone greener that I remembered. The crowd were back and there were plenty of activities going about. I had my haircut done while I was there.
Disappointingly, one of the fusion restaurant we used to come regularly has closed. We had Japanese instead today while contemplating our next destination.
Last week, we got an invitation from Burberry store at Gardens for an event there. Little did we know that the traffic and parking there was bad today. We managed to get our spot at an adjacent office building, connected to the mall via a link bridge. In the end, it worked out nicely for us.
After we were done, we decided to go out for dinner at the new Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall - the first time went there. The place could do with more tenants but it had the essentials. We settled at Lado, a Negri Sembilan restaurant which cooked a mean mask lemak daging salai. It certainly hit the spot.
It was certainly a long day - and yesterday as well. We may. have to decide to stay in tomorrow ...
