She needs that extra energy for her voice are you expecting full on kpop hardcore choreo ??? Can we just appreciate her and the fact that we still get to hear her voice and she doesn’t good full on Rihanna on us and only care about her fashion brand and not music ??

Guys pls don't judge her. We don't know the regulation from the tv station. We are not in that industry so we as outsiders don't know the behind story or others reason like her song is hard to sing live because of the tempo of lyric, stay in high note etc. Maybe it's also the standard there. So Just enjoy what she gave us. If you said that you are boring with her performance and compare to tae yeon I don't agree I also boring with others GG member performance too Why? because they keep singing same song every momment or in any platform I only excited when they give us new song or new performance. But I don't need to complain and just enjoy their performance It's good to hear their voices And see their appearance in every performance That's from me

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, China doesn't do live. Live broadcasts are only done by people with the "perfect Beijing accent". The people in the audience can hear her sing live but what's broadcast is always going to be the recording. I'm surprised they let her sing English songs. Her Chinese is definitely getting better.

@@Bananaleek The background audio is what you are hearing, basically the studio recording. This usually happens whenever she's singing in China. If you want to hear her sing live you'd have to be there, OR a fan cam. China had such success with the recorded audio for the 2008 Olympics opening and closing ceremonies, and they never looked back. Perfect One China is perfect China. At least that's how long I remember this happening. It could have been sooner.

And she probably is singling live but the sound engine whose in charge of production put the real audio over her voice. So y'all need to stop hating or go somewhere else. Im so tired of people talking trash when they can't do half of what these kpop celebrities do. Leave these people alone. No one is perfect. If y'all want perfection, go read a book. And its so obvious the sound engineer muted her vocals cause you barely hear the crowds cheering. This isn't her fault smh

I completely agree. Kpop always plays the track behind the singer and messes with vocalists. It really bugs me. Let them sing raw. I like Jessica a lot and Krystal.

What's with the subdued audience? As a Jersey Boy Texan, I KNOW that I could make more noise than that all by myself, especially for Jessica.

As a Golden Star, as a Sparkle, as an OT9 Sone.....i'm very much underwhelmed by her production and performance. BECAUSE she has already shown real growth and improvement as a performer during her Chinese reality t.v show for that girl group thing. Her performances were live and she always brought it to a100%. So it is very disappointing to see not just a lipsync but very pre-2022 Jessica type of performances again. Also, what is with the costume? This is cute but, again, in that t.v show, she was able to showcase solid and (for a lack of a better term) "age appropriate" costumes. Jessica is already beyond this cutesy schtick, we see it on her Instagram daily. She's already on glamorous and gorgeous level of beauty so I don't see the need for this cutesy vibe.

Jessica is a great singer (people said she's lazy to dance but she’s a good dancer too. If she’s active during Gen 4-5, she would be surely called an all-rounder. ) However, as a fan, I don't think Jessica is that much passionate about music. I can tell Taeyeon Does Love singing. It doesn't mean she's in the big company with better sound engineers. But Taeyeon just loves to sing. She doesn't care about promotions. She chose to upload her stage videos on KZread and focuses more on concert tours. For Jess, I didn't think she was that passionate about music as others. She sings well and I love her voice most in her previous group. She can sing, she can dance, but sometimes she didn't choose to do it. I don't see that this performance is boring because I know how amazing she is. I don't know why she didn't sing live here. Maybe it's because of the programme? But as a fan, I'm happy enough to see her singing again especially releasing her newest album. Wish her all the best!

I go to Diamond Dreams concert and I watch all her live for beep beep, all lips sync, very disappointed, you are singer come on, taeyeon and IU always sing live, at least this is respect for your job and your audience

She could've at least recorded a pre recorded tape. It's really underwhelming

I think that her performance, which is no longer happy, has beautiful songs and should have more projection if the president of her label belongs to her boyfriend.

Jessica will never compare to Taeyeon, at least she is trying her best and her performance is not boring but rather special. Taeyeon destroyed Jessica. If Taeyeon had not ruined Jessica's career, she would now be in the lead. Jessica's talents are incomparable with Taeyeon, especially in her voice.

Tbh she's a good dancer and a strong one but idk as time went by when she was still with snsd, i noticed she lost that swag. She is still a good dancer but she has this move which i can't explain that kind of ruin it.

It doesn’t help her current dances are very simple, which makes sense since she wants to focus on singing (not sure if this is live though). I think over time, Jessica kinda dances like she isn’t putting in 100% energy for dancing anymore. Maybe like 80% or so.

@@nyxulric8626 i can't explain her particular moves but her dance styles now are more girly and princess-like and her head is always tilted when she dances. She can def dance and follow choreo well that's for sure but she doesn't have those moves that she used to have when she was still a trainee and after they debuted.

Im a golden star, but her performance is always boring tbh. She never challenge herself. She used to be on par with taeyeon, and above IU,. But now her performance degraded alot. Beep Beep is her title track but until now, she never sang it live. Beep beep in all her diamond dreams tour too.

Jessica’s is part of a small indie label while Taeyeons is a multimillion dollar company that’s actively pushing her as their top solo star. Of course she’d have better sound engineers and productions. Plus I can hear faint live vocals and that’s good enough for me. I’m just glad Jessica is performing again. 😊
