Instead of dividing the area with fans by a/b, many people were allowed into one place at a time. So the audience was confused from the beginning of the performance because there was no space in the area, but as the performance of zb1 started and more people flocked, fans started to push each other. The fecal issue happened after the stage, and it is not true that fans argued during zb1's performance. I hope this will be heard to many people. Don't believe the wrong information on X as it is. I'm a Korean fan, so please understand that the translation is uneven And the photos of the idols' facial expressions that were posted everywhere were also wrong. The facial expressions of coughing or other situations were edited out and rumoured as if they were smelling something strange and frowning. There is so much fake information. There was no bad smell to the place where the singers were sitting. There were not only Korean fans, but also various global fans, including Chinese and Japanese. That's not the fans' fault. This is so sad, the idols look literally so worried and concerned, they aren't even able to pay attention to the performances 😭 I know the situation was chaotic and silly at times, but it was really serious. The event organizers should be ashamed for putting fans and idols in danger.

Can we please talk about YB and how great they were at bringing it up in their acceptance speech? Much respect for Ateez, Aespa, 8turn, TripleS and Parc Jae Jung for being concerned and bringing it up to bodyguards even when they could’ve just left them to take care of it. It must’ve been stressful for the bodyguards too and even though they weren’t organized I’m glad they atleast listened to the idols and were able to distribute more water and try to control the crowd.

Hongjoong, Mingi, and Aspia were also so worried about the audience that they didn't focus on the performance for even a second.

My girls TripleS first award show with horror experience. Glad that the rest of the girls are not here to witness chaos .

based off the threads i’ve read it was mostly zb1 fans causing the chaos.. when the boys were in the audience section, pushing got worse and then all the viral clips of idols freaking out was during their performance as well.. so most likely zb1 fans are the cause 😕

@@bri7797 at the time of their performance zb1 fans were closer to the stage not artist section and they were busy watching the performance doing fanchants its not them pushing to be infront of artists , the threads was made my jiwoong anti kfans to make it seem like the problem was bec of him if you go through the accounts that first tweeted that you will know , also people who attended said the pushing was from the beginning and kept getting worse and was the hardest when nct came to the artist section ( dk if its true or another anti post ) ALSO there was a pan post viral 2 days before the show asking if it will be safe bec they let more people in the standing MORE THAN THE VENUE CAN HOLD it was all mismanagement from the beginning

Because it was majority of their fans there. When zb1 gave their speech they pushed up to where they were, when they performed they all started pushing towards the stage and when they sat in the artist seating they were tryna get a better look at them so they all tried moving in that direction

I was excited to see ateez reacting to zb1 but this happened. I wish fans won't break rules ever, the award show fun is gone because everyone was worried and it was scary. Also, I hope organizers take this matter seriously and divide the area into sections or assign seats instead. We just wanted a peaceful award show and cute idols interaction, not a big incident.

It's a shame that the fans ruined the performance for the idols. They couldn't even enjoy other's performances. I feel bad for the idols.

I agree. I will not deny it was entertainment and a lot of people were misinformed (someone did have an accident but not to that scale, there was also no fight), but it took away from the real issue which was the overcrowding in that area. I'm not gonna fully blame the fans bc the event holders could have done better but it's a good reason why fans need to regard the safety of others over getting a good photo.

i agree but people will believe anything on tiktok, the truth is there was fans assaulting each other and there was too much pushing, the jiwoong hate by one person from the crowd was true, but everything else is fake. Even if there was someone who allegedly pooped there is no proof.

I’ve been to a GA concert before where the crowd surge was so bad I really thought I would die. Security had to lift me out during the middle of the opening performance and at that point I didn’t care to see the rest of the show. The panic and fear you experience surpasses any excitement to see or watch a performance. I feel so horrible for innocent fans in the crowd and the idols for having to witness this in person. You would think Itaewon and other crowd crush incidents would teach people the importance of maintaining a safe distance. It wasn’t like the venue was overcrowded, people were just that desperate to have interactions with their idol. I know it’s fun to joke about the poop incident but the Hanteo situation was truly sad and I hope people will take situations like this seriously next time.

no, it's the responsibility of event organizers to arrange the crowd in a way that these issues dont happen. ofc the crowd could be more considerate but it's literally the job of the organizers to arrange things in a way that it's not just hundreds of people in one big crowd

HMA was poorly organised, not only they didn’t care about the crowd pushing but also allegedly they didn’t let people use bathrooms. Security didn’t do their job as well.
