I don't think the 'burnt' turkey was "it".............It sounds like they had other marital and financial problems with the parents. I think they had 'financial' problems and when the turkey got burnt, it was another drain on the pocketbook and holiday strain. People get stressed during the holidays.------- They lived in a trailer near an abandoned school that the kids played at....obviously, not in a nice neighborhood.

Snjár Hvitr it’s possible the whole family was messed up except for Martha and they all have hidden secrets so the brother put the blame on himself to have his sisters body found without telling the whole story. It’s possible it was both parents. It’s not possible that his clothes weren’t found with blood on it unless they were burnt or he changed out of them before he got home but someone would’ve seen him. Its crazy how nobody could find any evidence at all anywhere.
