Hahaha! So true. Watching videos of people ‘work’ is a strange concept. It’s like farming simulator games, or truck driving. Or videos of people restoring tools or washing/detailing cars. Visualising tasks at my 9-5 office job as mini quests in an NPC game makes it more fun for me. Perhaps in the future we’ll play VR games where we do real world work as a pastime! Definitely not safe, but I used to cycle when I lived there and the only "accident" I got in was waiting to turn right, this guy just decided to pull into my lane and run me over. I used to love the adrenaline and physical exertion though. And at 4am when we closed up the bar and went home, there were little to no cars in the road and I used to go as fast as I could down some hills. That was the best part, though quite irresponsible.

The first 12 hours he averaged £20/hour. That's pretty good and nothing to feel sorry about. It's obvious the rate would go down when it was like 5am and he probably wouldn't work those hours where he doesn't make as much.

@@ze234 There is no law in the United Kingdom which allows cyclists special priviledges to jump red lights. Where the hell did you get that information from? Cyclist that are on the road must obey traffic lights, please read rule 69 of the highway code.

@@prezthebutton8876 while I agree that technically they are bound by the same laws, the government have given advice to the police that cyclists can breach laws such as cycling on the pavement and running red lights if they do so 'considerately' and do not endanger safety. Thanks! This is actually the most lazy 24 hours of riding I've ever done so felt pretty comfortable and safe. Longest I've done is 50 hours (1 hour total of naps) which got me 800km / 500 miles. Actually working on the video for that now!

Used to work Ubereats and Deliveroo same time on scooter. Friday-SAT- Sunday,doing 12h each shift, on average , £200 each day. £500-600 weekly just doing those 3 days . Cyclist should get bit more or have shorter distances!

Yeah, the weekends can be awesome. I've not done Deliveroo but am on Stuart too. We have less insurance and fuel bills but we do need to eat more food lol. I prefer the longer drops with Uber because you actually get paid for it.

Austin Auggie made mad videos doing delivery in New York. I followed him for the deliveries. Then he started doing his own vlogs, but none took off like the deliveries. Stick to the deliveries and capitalize on the money by mobilizing these videos. I’ll subscribe.

200.19 GBP / 24 hours = 8.34 GBP / hour UK Minimum Wage for those 25 and older: 8.21 GBP / hour. You beat minimum wage just barely. That said, probably best not to make a habit of being awake for so long. Last I checked, Uber ain't giving free coffee for overtime work.

As a student whos 18 and gets 6 50 an hour, I would say this is not bad as I'm also able to pick what hours suit me

It is crazy how close you are driving towards people and cars.

Damn, you're devoted to do this by pedal bro. I did it for a month on my electric converted mountain bike while looking for another job. 6-8hr shifts. I have 3 batteries. Kept 2 at home. They lasted 2-3 hrs. When the first one died I got my girlfriend to come drop off a fresh battery and pick up the dead one, that she puts on the charger. By the end of the shift when the 3rd battery is dead, the first one is full so I actually get 4 batterys throughout a shift, while only having 3 ;)

Really enjoyed this video! I ride for Uber eats and rarely do more than 8 hours in one go, respect the endurance subbed!

Protip: Send a thank you message after the delivery. I get a lot of tips that way.

Nah you guys don’t get it, that’s a council estate, otherwise know as the projects in the US. Even if he double chained his bike at the bottom of those stairs, by the time he gets back it’ll either have both wheels and the seat missing, or just be gone altogether. It’s easier to just carry it with you

welcome in UK. you are not allowed to ride on pavements but we wont provide bike lanes in most places + car drivers are 200% more aggressive and more likely to hit you.

@@copperx I am living in the UK, Cyclist myself. He cycles dangerously but drivers in UK are dangerous and aggressive as well. Based on my own experience. They do not care if they hit you with a mirror or not. If they will hit you, they will likely make sure u are unconscious and don't remember them if they can.

Riding a bike in the UK is awkward. Can't ride on the pavement because it's illegal/awkward, on the road you're too slow for all the cars and they cut you up, bike lanes shared with pedestrians who are too slow and get in the way. Can't win as a cyclist. Unless you do mountain biking, peace for miles.

Dude what a rider you are; I was not able to do 50km which was not continuous (weather was around 30 C) and you did 225km. WOW! Hats off to you man

A lot harder to work in 30C than 8C!! Where are you riding? I rode around Australia and that was pretty brutal with the heat. Just did a 363km ride yesterday (not deliveries, thankfully lol!)
