thank u for this video, i've been following ur vlogs and family too....we are going this autumn with my kids....question: what if i buy this tokyo metro ticket.....but my tokyo place is in asagaya (jr lines) so what ticket from klook should i purchase to access like 2 to 3 days city tour?

Hi, since you will be near JR lines your best option would probably be to get a welcome Suica or Pasmo Passport upon arrival at the airport in Tokyo. This way, with the IC card you can ride on either the subway or JR lines. But you will not get a discount, only convenience. If your kids are between the ages of 6-11 then you can get them a child Suica card. You will need to visit the JR ticketing office and show your childs passport. I watched and love all your videos! One question on visit the Sensoji temple early in the morning: are most of the charastic shops and eateries still closed? Would that mean we lose much of the fun for visiting that area?

Hi, yes, unfortunately, many will be closed. However, there is a lot to see and do in the area. If you want to walk along the Sumida river afterwards then return more shops will open up.

Our favorite thing turned out to be getting breakfast at the Tsukiji (former) fish market and spending some time wandering around all the stalls. We also liked the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park (they do a very nice tea ceremony in the back). Breakfast from 7-11. Gawking at the architecture in Aoyama.

Hi Going to Tokyo for 5 days but plan on going to DisneySea 1 day, Studio Gibibli (got tickets already), how best to fit in TeamLab, Shibya Sky tickets, Gundam robot, Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, Don Quixote Sensoji Temple during 5 days?

Hi, you can definitely do all of these in 5 days. Especially, since it is entirely possible to do a few of these in one day ;). I suggest looking at a map trying to do things that are near each other per day, since a lot of time can be wasted on transportation. I hope this helps.

We are in Japan for a few days. So can we just use a digital suica instead of the subway pass?

I’m from the U.S. and will visit Japan in April. I plan to add the Suica card to my iPhone wallet before my trip. Will I be charged a cash advance fee when I use my credit card on file with Apple Pay to put money into the Suica card? If yes, is there a workaround to avoid this fee? Thanks in advance for your help.

It depends upon your particular credit card. We called our Chase card and were told it would count as a cash advance. Instead, I use an Apple Card to reload my digital IC card and it just counts as a regular charge. I recommend contacting your credit card to ask. 🌸 Heidi
