Why? It’s not the minor plastic face surgery that made her a model. Almost all girls around the world nowadays get some kind of plastic surgery and they’re not models. It’s her tall slender body, her charisma and her great walk that made her a model.

That would be extremely hard to enforce, especially if a woman got surgery before she started modeling. If plastic surgery is subtle then it looks real. If the industry had this rule, then there'd be no Tyra or Naomi. Plastic surgery levels the playing field.

@@neelamaulakh we usually learn Spanish in school. There’s 60 million Hispanic identifying people in the US and Mexico is our largest trade partner. French is more frequently an option in the Northeast though (due to proximity to Quebec and Europe)

I actually don't have a problem with nepo babies if they can bring something to the table. Before the industry started to scout girls from any place or class, many of the earliest models in modern history (20s-30s) were socialites and aristocratic girls with very striking or elegant features. In modern day, I think someone like Lily-Rose Depp has a genuinely unique and striking beauty that plays well in fashion and film; someone like Bella, also from a wealthy and semi-famous family, has a lovely charisma in addition to a striking look, augmented by some very effective plastic surgeries. But the key is that these girls have an interesting-not necessarily "natural" or even beautiful-but at least interesting look in addition to their connections. I resent when we have to celebrate someone with derivative, standard micro-influencer looks and barely C-List celebrity parents, too. The vast majority of people are probably uninteresting, annoying, and not-ugly-but-not-beautiful, but the difference is that the vast majority of people aren't famous models and never will be, because they don't have looks or the personality to resonate with the public. It feels like this girl is being pushed on us by her annoying, social-climbing mom and her parents' professional connections. I really hope this second-rate Gabriette knock-off finds some success and fulfillment outside of the public eye so we can all stop hearing from her or about her.

I get what you’re saying but still Lily Rose Depp is much less striking than her mother was when she was young, she’s pretty but much more bland and “LA”, not to mention that she’s very short for a model, so she literally never would be in a position she is without her parents. Kendall and Kylie Jenner are horribly boring as well. The only person that has the looks is Bella Hadid and also it’s clearly surgically achieved, and still Carla Bruni , her look alike was just slightly more alluring. It’s very obvious that all those people just represent money, not unique beauty.
