Ive been driving LeMans a lot on rFactor2 lately. However, I'm doing the iRacing version in a couple weeks so I went back there to practice... And MAN iR feels so dull compared to this... Like really dull.

awsome video, lad! and yes, last year's LMP3 and GTE are on equal pace on certain tracks. The LMP3s have a power deficit of around 180HP compared to the GTEs (depending on the BOP) but they make that up with aerodynamic superiority and, most importantly, weight. LMP3s weigh 900kg which is more than 300kg lighter than the average GTE. This also decreases their braking distance significantly. So all in all that equates to very equal laptimes. You can see that in the European Le Mans Series ELMS which features all the classes you used in today's video. Even the starting grid is usually very mixed with the best laptime coming down to the best driver. However this often leads to some very dangerous situations when the PROs step in the GTEs and close up to an AM driver in an LMP3. In order to fix that the LMP3 technical regulations have been adjusted for 2020 adding another 35HP to the 420HP from the last years. I hope that s397 will release an update for their Norma LMP3 once the real new LMP3s have taken to the track in the ELMS and Michelin Le Mans Cup. Keep up the good work!

Yeah, the more I watch you play this game the more I feel I just need to give it a go. Especially with how everyone touts the FFB in this game. I've been pretty obsessed with ACC lately but some variety will be good I think. Side note, absolutely love your Submission bass plugin. I've been using it religiously for my work for about a year now and have sent quite a few people your way as well. I work in sales at Sweetwater and when I get a someone looking for that sort of thing I steer them in your direction since we don't really carry anything of that quality. Always been a huge fan of your work man!

That Ferrari GTE car is phenomenal. Literally one of the best drives in sim racing for me. FYI there is a Le Mans aero package you can apply if you go to “customize”.

I do this same race all the time in rf2, love it.

Rule 1 for Endurance racing; Understand your fuel load. Race in minutes/ by lap time X fuel per lap and add 1 lap fuel in case another car starts his final lap within the race time. The HUD will give you fuel per lap. An awesome plugin you may like is Dashmeter Pro, you can set "Fuel to add to finish", if it exceeds zero you know you have to fuel save. Mix 3 or even mix 2 from Indianapolis to Tetre Rouge wont hurt lap time as its mainly partial throttle. Trivia; Most GTE teams in the VEC 24 hrs of Lemans were double stinting soft tyres. Thats 26 laps per set. Pit stop with no tyre change saved 33 sec, thats a lot over 13 laps. LMP3 is worth looking up, interesting class, Nissan V8 engine with 10,000 mile life. Cheap LMP racing. Full car available from £85,000 used. Keep having fun. Thanks for the content. :)

I'm not affiliated with them or anything, but if you like endurance racing and would like to watch more esports endurance racing VEC is really good. the 24 hours of Le Mans they just had last weekend was really good and entertaining! I usually cant watch a lot of sim racing myself but that race was awesome!

I see your furry dash still not functioning properly. I wonder why that is, mine works well. Do you have auto update on? Wonder if you are missing an update for that car.

Dang the consistency needed is crazy. I can't quite get the feel of gt cars yet. Mechanically they're easy to drive but pushing them to the limit like this is really hard to feel out. Maybe it's better on rfactor, surely still difficult

The RRT4 tune is just ace.

I have a question I'm new to rFactor2 and I have a Simucube DD wheel and I'm trying to get my ffb dialed in. When m driving into a corner with a nice amount of speed and and I hit my brake while turning the wheel the ffb pulls aggressively to the opposite side that I'm turning do you have this pull? If so is there a setting to eliminate it or tone it down some.

I did not understand why IRacing could not use the 24hr of LeMans name, but now I understand that RFactor got the naming rights to it

Did you use any mods in rFactor or is this content already in there by default? everytime I try to install rFactor is just ends up in a mess

Just a heads up, the flatspots on the F1 car caused the suspension to fail. Otherwise GREAT video Ermin!

@@d.jsgaming6683 Hiya, thanks. Honestly I stopped when I had a heart attack. Once I came out from hospital I didn't pick it back up. I love my Sim Racing and I did find it kinda sucked the fun out of it a little bit. I have considered uploading to my channel again and it's not totally off the table but right now I have not made a decision. Thanks again for the kind words.

this is all dlc my man, just biy rfactor 2, endurance pack, ferrari 488 gte and the le mans laser scanned track and you have all the content in this video but ofcourse factor 2 is not an easy plug and play game

@@sim-vinny I know I play AC for years, and also RF2 now but with this specs it looks great

Having done 6 hour AI race in both rF2 and AMS1 with FordGTE, yes, the damage and flat spot control is crucial.... imaging drive a car with 3 drgree wheel offset and jiggling for 10+ laps.... And don't trust the fuel predection... I cauculate my own fuel based on practice and quli data.

I just bought the game and it is really really good! I now understand why people like it. So where do I find the mirrors you have in this video?
