I liked the chocolate tour. Very interesting how they have you eat the different chocolates in different rooms as you progress through history.

It was a pleasant surprise to me since I had no idea going into it.
Zagreb sure looks worth a visit! I think the flower market must be great in spring and summer. Good idea to take the tram and sightsee on the way. Chocolate is always good! 😋 Irish pub everywhere 😂 I'll send you a picture of the cathedral if I ever make it back out there! 😊

Please do. I'm curious as to what it looks like.
I just love visiting old towns and seeing the architecture of what was once a standard. Wait chocolate! Can’t go wrong with a chocolate tasting. And lol your face on trying that one piece of chocolate. I’ve been there.

@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon yikes! That would not be the chocolate for me!
Chocolate! Yummy! Wonder how many countries have chocolate museums? Remember passing one in PDC, Mexico when we were walking.

I'm sure quite a few. The history of chocolate is the history of the world.
Southern part isn't socialist, it's modernist. Built in first half of 20th century (KINGDOM of Yugoslavia era), the blame for bleak and cube looking buildings is the fashion of early to mid 20th century and you'll find same architecture in any European city, but bigger cities have it outside the central areas because they were huge already before 20th century. Socialist part is the apartment blocks along and across Sava river, the New Zagreb. And it's not really socialist other than it was socialists who built it. Same apartment blocks are in Vienna and Hamburg and Paris.
