24 Hours In Vaduz, Liechtenstein 🇱🇮

After an amazing trip through Austria by train I end up in the beautiful, tiny city of Vaduz, Liechtenstein. We visit Kathedrale St. Florin, Government of Liechtenstein building, Vaduz Castle, The Red House and the AMAZING Viewing Platform!! Finally we end up at the Old Rhine Bridge and cross over into Switzerland.
I also get my passport stamped! This was a fun surprise!!
Check out the walking tours!

About Me:
My name is Sam Gregory I'm 35 (1987) and originally from the UK. I've been a solo traveller since 2019. Except during the "2022" beer flu, I've lived nomadically around the world. Working and enjoying my adventures. I started vlogging on instagram before brining the content to KZread in 2023. I like to challenge myself from time to time and I love technology (hence the name Travelbook Pro. If you didn't know this is an Apple reference). I like to inspire people to travel and challenge themselves and remind them that you can still have boundless energy and a zest for life no matter what age you are.

Thank you so much. Good luck in your time in Liechtenstein. The only thing I regret not doing is a hike in the mountains but I feel like I covered all the essentials in Vaduz

@@travelbookpro thanks for mentioning as we were not sure if it's worth it to do also a hike..

If you have time, for sure do the hike. Make sure you take appropriate footwear. That was another reason why I didn't go. I hear it's not for the feint of heart (though there is a 'family' route)

Thanks so much! I felt like I tried to do everything Liechtenstein has to offer (and every place I visit for that matter). I wish I went for a hike in the alps while I was here though. Thanks for the sub!

What do you think is the easiest way to get to Liechtenstein? I'll be moving to Vilnius (found you through your video there), and I'd love to visit Liechtenstein/Austria Switzerland if I could. Liechtenstein seems perfect for a day trip, really can see it all.

Glad to have you following along :) Only possible chance for a day trip would be to fly into Zurich but so much time would be wasted on travel. You’re looking at a weekend really and for that I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. It’s a great passing country and a bit of a novelty but I think Austria is the easiest for a day trip at a push. I hear a high speed train will connect Lithuania and Krakow is in the works

@@travelbookpro I meant day trip as in visit Switzerland/Austria for a few days and try to get to Liechtenstein on one of those days. I'd love to get a stamp in my passport. Also, how affordable/convenient are trains when traveling between countries? Lithuania to France for example. Is flying just easier?

It’s not too easy to get to because there is no train station. You have to get a bus from either Buchs, Feldkirch, or Sargans. Easiest places to stay Innsbruck or Zurich but I do know some people stay in Sargans or Feldkirch to travel into Liechtenstein.
