Interesting idea. Problem is that in this configuration, you can only fit 1/4 of the passengers that you could fit in the normal configuration. So a ticket would be at least 4x more expensive. Also, this wouldn‘t work safety wise as passengers need to sat upright for taxi takeoff and landing.

I too wanted to try sleeping at something like that as an avgeek. Even more surprising, 20 Boeing 747-200 are still flying as of March 2024. Very perfect video👍👍, Swiss

If you want to visit another 747-200, there is one in the netherlands in a musieum called Aviodrome. Its a Nice one to check out it still has most of the interior

You should have a look at the airplane suite in Teuge (Netherlands). They have converted an Ilyushin Il-18 into a luxury suite with various amenities, including a sauna, jacuzzi, and minibar. The hotel is called "Vliegtuigsuite Teuge."

There’s also one next to Amsterdam Schiphol it’s a quite nice hotel and it’s not broken like this one
