You 2 are beautiful vegan girlies!!!…I found a restaurant you 2 would love, I’ve been vegan 10 years…it’s a Japanese burrito place structured like Chipotle, 10/10, so delicious…burritos wrapped in Nori…it’s not a fully vegan place but he’s creating a vegan menu
I visited Portland this past weekend for a food crawl. I tried 3 places you suggested. Each one was a hit. We got donuts from Doe...twice . The Portland fog is my family's fav. We went to Mirsata and Mis Tacones, both were delicious. I look forward to the next time we head back. Orange and blossom is on my list. Thank you so much!!!

Hi Anissa! That makes me so happy to hear! Thank you for sharing!! ❤Can’t wait to come back and do another video
I visited Portland twice in 2022 and maybe went to Orange and Blossom? The others I will have to check out the next trip for sure!
I have been watching your videos getting ready for eating out on my Portland vacation next week. I'm so excited, thank you for sharing your experiences!!

I’m watching this from my visit this coming weekend 😊
Watched from Sydney Australia 😍 I am visiting Portland because of you. It would be cool if you revisited Portland Oregon restaurants from your old videos, to see what’s new, new menu items etc, I noticed that the Vietnamese place shut down 😢
Great content ❣❣
🙏🏾 Sending this to my parents in PDX

Amazing thank you!!
Not vegan but I do live in Portland and wondered where good vegan food can be had. I enjoy the difference in culinary style demanded by vegan cooking. I already had Mirisata bookmarked and it looks even better than it sounds. Thanks for this video.

Lechon has the best vegan options even tho they’re not fully vegan. Ben & Esther’s has the best bagels!! 💚

@@nickitahhh looking at the menu at Lechon...yeah bone marrow is pretty aggressively non-vegan lol. But the whole menu looks great. I will have to visit and try the vegan options. Will also have to check out Ben & Esther's. I am now in a habit of checking the menu at the places I eat for vegan/veg options. When I only see a salad I always think "oh come on, you can do better." Thank you for the tips.

@@kristinwright6632 ya it’s not 100% vegan but they have a vegetarian menu which you could ask them to make vegan the dishes. Lomo Saltado is 🥵😮💨

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it! 😀
The problem with most pizza dough vegan or non vegan is the use of l-cysteine as a dough conditioner which is typically not listed as an ingredient or even if it is they will list it as vegan when it is derived from human hair or feathers. Muslims consider l-cysteine haram. I only eat pizza now that I personally make and make the dough. Many vegans don’t even realize that they are eating it bc the label says vegan but plenty of people would say it is not.
This was great!! I wish i had seen this when i went to portland 6 months ago :( lol

Oh no! Now you gotta go back 😀
Try South Indian food. It's super vegan friendly. Search for a south Indian 'thali' place in the Bay area, for e.g.
Another great episode. I used to live in Portland and I miss all the great vegan options. Unfortunately the city went downhill big time in the last few years so I had to had to leave. So sad because Portland used to be such a great place. I literally moved there for the food! There are just so many incredible vegan places in Portland! Orange & Blossom opened after I left. I wish I could have tried it. It looks amazing! Fortune looks amazing too! I never went to Miratsa only because Alex is such a mean person but the food does look good.

I have to agree about Portland going downhill. I'm really upset about it. I live in Vancouver and now I don't go to Portland anywhere as much as I used to. I understand it is the current government that is mostly to blame. But the city will have years to dig themselves out of this hole.
I gotta get my ass to Portland stat!
Great video and thanks for introducing me to @veganventuresofficial and her awesome content!

Did anyone mention the fantastic collection of vintage plates Orange and Blossom uses??
I lived in Oregon and there is a good donut place you should try. Voodoo donuts. They have a vegan menu.
Vegan for the Animals ❤
Those desserts dude what the hell im missing out
This makes me want to try Fortune again. Went there a couple years ago and had the worst service. We had to beg to be served when they had almost no customers and then were treated like crap. Left a real bad taste.

Oh no ! So sorry to hear that! I think it’s worth a try to go back.. I don’t blame you for being skeptical after your experience but I hope you enjoy it this time around !
I'm not going to lie, I mean all of it looks awesome but unfortunately. It's a shame that many of these cool vegan places are more or less exclusive for those who are lower middle to low income people such as myself who cannot afford to dine out as much as some people do. Especially with the rise of income and wealth inequality, the ongoing housing crisis, homelessness, and the prices of everything continue to go up at this point still. Especially where it's more common in major cities like what you showned us called Portland, Oregon

@@ratedvfood "heres my vegan breakfast of vegan egg, vegan cheese, vegan butter, vegan ham, vegan mayo, vegan tomato" gets a little redundant 😂
Food is great there but sadly won’t return due to crime, drugs and human waste all over the streets

So sad the vegan community is dying in the pnw.
