In a Q&A video, they explained that Steven, via his marketing skills from university, started to get sponsorships from travel firms and hotels to save money, after they burned their finances off in their first full on travelling year. They were smaller then, the channel is growing so financially, they probably are getting better deals. And maybe they're saving money on flights to spend what they've got more on experiences on land. Jess said that the channel is making some money to support both of them. But it still has a way to go to get things to the next level, about 2 years ago I think

Glad you enjoyed Paris. I went there from Poland for about 24h hours once and visited the Eiffel Tower, the city center and Christmas market. I had a chance to stay in Paris for a week in 2006, it was a blast.

Hi Steve and Jes, where do I begin??? lol Firstly I want to say, you guys are absolutely awesome people and by far THEEEE BEST couple to follow on all your adventures, tips, and tours. I found your vlogs last year 2018 and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your work. Not only do you two make a great couple but you also are my inspiration to travel abroad. Steve, I am so happy to have learned that you are a South African, as to am I :) This year September 2019 will be my first time traveling aboard. I will be going to Europe, and with your help as well as a very close friend of mine have totally convinced me to choose Turkey as my first international destination.
