I return here to Val Vogna this time to reach the highest hospice in Europe, the Rifugio Ospizio Sottile 2480 Mt
I leave the car in Sant'Antonio 1380 Mt a fraction of Riva Valdobbia (Valsesia)
I take path 201D (art path) in this first part I will pass several Walser houses on the path.
After this first stretch of the very nice path to follow, I arrive in the locality of Peccia 1510 Mt where you can still admire some beautiful, perfectly preserved Walser houses.......
From Peccia I have to reach the Napoleonic Bridge (Napoleonic because it was built by Napoleon's soldiers) where the climb towards the Rifugio Ospizio Sottile will begin.
From the Napoleonic bridge, I take path 201 GTA in the direction of Alpe Larecchio,
after a beautiful climb among the larches I arrive at Alpe Larecchio 1910 Mt
another magical place... Here too there are some Walser houses
and a farmhouse open in the summer. (Larecchio Farmhouse)
now I have to tackle the second part of the path, so I take path 201C, which will allow me to reach the Valdobbia alp
where there is a hut now used as a stable for livestock.
And from here I abandon path 201C and take path 201E which allows me to shorten the route a little.
Another short climb that takes me close to the main path 201 but above all in the final stretch to reach the refuge.
The Rifugio Ospizio Sottille is now in my sights, I follow the Valdobbia stream and begin the climb towards the Valdobbia hill.
After 4 hours (including stops) I arrive at Rifugio Ospizio Sottile 2480 Mt GOOD VISION,

Davvero un bel video Elia! Io ero andato in val vogna lo stesso giorno che eri andato tu solo che la mia destinazione era il lago bianco. Una valle ricca di storia, si vede che ci hai lasciato il cuore in valsesia. Davvero un bel video, buon anno Elia!🎉🤩

Fatto ad agosto faticoso ma merita tutto. Salito da una parte e sceso dall'alpe Larecchio.
Un'altro bel giro da fare è il corno bianco più ospizio sottile
