ETID was/is my favorite band for over 15 years. Saw them 20ish times, ETID tattoos on me, went to the December ETID shows for like 7-8 years in a row and as much everyone raved about Radical I could sense the wick was about to be burnt out. It was good, but didn't touch the previous albums vibes. That chapter has ended and it is time for Better Lovers. So stoked to see what Jordan, Greg, Steve, and Goose have in store.

Ohhhh two sets in one day. That makes sense when i heard they did a matinee set.

I loved 30 Under 13, but the rest of the EP didn't hit as hard for me on the first listens. The songs deff sound better live, and those two new tracks sound like possibly my favorite out of everything so far. Jordan Buckley is a madman.

I was exactly the same after the first few spins, but then after about 7 spins the whole ep just started to hit harder and click for me

Their original music is so messed up musically that when it comes time to cover Soundgarden, it sends this talented group of musicians back to their childhood practice room again lol. Great work thou, Soundgarden isn't the easiest group to cover.

This music is too polished and manicured. These guys are legends and created some of the best music from the scene. But that music was born out of something meaningful. This just feels like going through the motions to me. Nothing wrong with putting music out there and people clearly enjoy it, but I just can't get into it.

@@ronthorn3 This music is just a hodge-podge of riffs and fills that have already been done. What they are selling is this experience and community, and I totally get that. I guess now that I've grown up it's kinda easier to see it and once the shock value wears off the music leaves me wanting. I wouldn't care but I feel like these bands are just culling their fans for money, which does kinda piss me off.
