The researching ATMs before you visit each country is a great one. I forgot to do this and was absolutely raped by ATM fees in Spain.

Ive been to 60 countries so far, Im planning to visit Middle East and Central Asia in the coming months, this is very useful, Im gonna use Passport index for sure

don't try to book directly with the hotel in Vietnam guys. They know we know it so they always charge higher. I always do it ending up booking by traveloka in Vietnam for a much better price without additional fee. But traveloka don't have that much options compare to booking and agoda lol

Note to self: 1. Visa checking website 2. Multiple travel cards (chase, Monzo) 8. Packing cubes (take things out and lie them out easily) 9. Filtered water bottle 10. Travel wash + laundry mat rather than laundry service 11. Plug in travel adapter

Great tips. I travel a bit using a good travel agency. They do everything for you. U pay a little more but not that much. Anything goes wrong say flight cancellation or hotel overbooked etc, u can call them and they make necessary arrangements. Whats your take on using travel agencies Joel?

Yeah these are always a safer option especially if you have a big family or kids that you want things to be sorted also a lot more stress-free. The downside is you definitely pay more, often a fair amount. I guess the only other downside is more touristy spots, but then again they are touristy spots for a reason :)

My advice is don't bother😂 London and Paris both shit holes outside the tourist areas.

Esims are great unless you need a phone number. If you need to call someone and you only got an ESIM... I also book everything through booking and Agodia simply as it gives you a bit of insurance if you rock up and theres no reservation. Great tips mate.
