In beta 1.6 test build 3 you get some chests with every item and that incloudes portal blocks, lava, fire and best of all that, water it doesnt flow and you can place it in the nether

i recommend to drink some fire res from piglins and go find some ntherite under lava. this is most likely best way to find netherite but you have to pay attention to your fire res duration.

Lava buckets are pretty good for killing mobs but if u are talking about mlg snow bucket and heybale is best oo i forgot wrapped vines

Best part is, you said bedrock players are worse, I play bedrock, my friends play Java, I've saved my friends from dying more times then I can count

1 hint if you wear a mobs head whatever head it is that mob will have a smaller detction range

Well,I create a copy of my world, and then using a /execute command on the copy, I clear out EVERYTHING that is not acnient debris, then I just have the ancient debris exposed, I memorize the coordinates, instantly mine there, no problem. Got over a stack like that in no time.
