I really love this content, because I don’t like using mods because it makes the game seem less like Minecraft, and I can still make fun maps and worlds and maps with cool things that would usually require mods.

Might've already been mentioned, but if you also bring a composter with your moss blocks for mining, by composting the extra moss, you might find you're actually gaining more bonemeal than you're using.

from my experience the moss trick is also partially self sustainable because you can take the extra moss blocks gained and through them in a composter to get more bone meal to grow some more moss then rinse and repeat

I understand chests because they can be changed for decoration and Mojang keeps adding more varients to wood things, but i think sticks and tools would be pointless. They would just be a different color of the same item, and would make it more annoying because then you couldnt craft tools or sticks with different wood. Chests would be kinda nice but sticks and tools are items so they should probably stay the same.

To be honest, I prefer modded minecraft to the vanilla game, because there's a lot of mods out there that give a unique and new experience to the game that has remained mostly the same (aside from all these pretty cool updates). Mods like Create or Immersive Engineering are some of my favorites, alongside Pam's Harvestcraft and Immersive FX (which is basically 1.12's Dynamic Surroundings but for 1.18)

I love the idea of the turrets cause you can make it functional by adding another minecrart on top of it and put a projectile mob and make it invisible, just note that this idea of the working turrets should be used only in creative mode builds.

A layer of tinted glass isn't enough for true one way glass, particularly if the person on the other side has their brightness set high. You need a layer of stained glass as well to provide enough opacity to completely obscure the dark side from the light side.
