i had a game kinda like this me an white were impostors one time about halfway through the game this happened white and i headed to 02 and killed someone black came up from navigation i self-reported in panic and told everyone its black *they believed me* and white sabotaged reactor so they couldnt hit emergency meeting and everyone was like "why cant i hit emergency meeting" *and we won*

I was in this one server and the owner called a meeting the second the game started and said that I’m acting sus everyone voted me off, next round while I’m dead he waited a bit then said yellows following me and they voted him out was not imposter either, he then said blue vented and everyone voted him off and he wasn’t imposter this went on and he wasn’t even imposter he and everyone else is just plain stupid so idiotic and dumb

24 : DONT EVER play with your friends over the phone or discord and when your friend gets killed and they tell you who the murder is and call them out, it’s annoying and unfair and just generally a nuisance it makes the game unfun, sure you can play with your friends just don’t tell them who did it when you get killed. It’s annoying and stupid

Playing with friends is cool as long as they don't say who's the Impostor when they die. I've gotten so many annoying lobbies. Like I just kill the first guy where NOBODY saw and I was VERY far and had an alibi but then someone said "It's White I'm sure, I got no evidence but trust me it's him" then I get voted off. Sometimes when I'm very unlucky I get a lobby where they don't even say anything and I get voted off, then the next thing I knew they were voice chatting each other (How did I know? Well they literally voted off every impostor when at least 1 person has died on their group of friends). Edit: What I meant by "Nobody saw" is that they didn't report the body and just press the emergency button.

Never point out your own imposter when they aren’t accused, especially not in the earlier rounds. If it’s around 6 or 5 people, it could work. But at 10, that’s a horrible strategy.

This happened once as a joke I was imposter and was tryna do the o2 but I misclicked and killed infront of someone so what everyone said was that they must've spooked me so that's why I killed them

also, as a imposter, don't get yourself in the situation of: "vote him off, and if it is not him, vote me." No matter if you are the one being accused, or using this as a last ditch effort when caught. crewmates are ready to sacrifice themselves in echange for 1 imposter. For 8 crew and 2 imposters, thats a good deal on the crews part. hence if you are accused, don't try to swing it around, but try to come up with a explanation that will put both you and the accuser out of harms way. If else, you are 1 emergency meeting away from dying.

My first round ever was impostor, luckily I’m on mobile so I figured out how to play pretty quick, somehow I won List of stupid things I did: Vent infront of others Accuse the other impostor near the start of the round Fix lights as impostor Kill in the middle of cafeteria Not look up a tutorial

When you can now turn off the task bar: *happy imposter noises *

another tip: with vents, don’t just sit in a vent the whole game! this should already be really obvious, but people will be wondering where you were the whole round, especially when they notice you didn’t get killed.

Here’s a visual task that most people miss. When you’re in shields and is doing the “prime shields” task, before you do it, outside the ship, there are two sets of two lights. They start out dimmed, but after you complete the task, the lights turn on completely.

The problem is sometimes two people could get this task and the one who does it 2nd could get accused of faking it, while he does actually do it. I was crewmate and had to do shield, but the lights were already on (meaning someone else did it first). I did the task and nobody saw me do it, but had someone seen me they could've accused me of faking the task while I did actually have to do shields.

that happened once to me my FELLOW imposter ratted me out to his friend. And after I saved him when peeps thought i t was him by lying and saying I saw pink kill. there is litterally a sign at the beginning of the game to tell u not to talk. I play with my friends and I never talk.

Here’s a hint: Don’t go into a room and vent if there are ppl outside. They would most likely see you going into the room and you didn’t come out. Especially in places like electric, upper engine, and security. If you are a crewmate, look for those types of senarios. Though the imposter (if playing with random s) might be smart enough to avoid that. Another hint: look for dead bodies where a mighty sus “crewmate” was. I was playing on Mira and this dude was sus af. He went to the upper part of the ship and i waited a bit until he came back. I knew there were other ppl in there so i looked around and he knew i was looking, and there was Le body in o2 sitting by the plants

I learned how to use #13. Because a big part of my strategy as Impostor is to check the admin table to find people that are alone, I'll also sometimes go up to it when I'm a crewmate, even if I'm not using that information.

27: to make the game more fun, if your fellow imposters accuse you to blend in, PLEASE do not spill the imposters. Any of them.

If you name yourself “I told you I” when you get ejected as crewmate for no reason it will say “I told you I was not the imposter”

Same, except when I reveal I know they are innocent or it's just the best strategy to survive. I was able to stay by purple without hassle because I told everyone they were innocent. It actually helped us win as Crewmates. Another time, there were only 5 people left, me (Cyan), Pink, White, Green, and Lime. Me, Pink, and White stayed in the cafeteria for a long time while Green and Lime ran off. Eventually, as a group we started to investigate and found Green dead. That was pretty easy. Another time, we were down to four people, and something similar happened. I followed Lime as Cyan and found a dead body. Since we were constantly together, we both knew neither of us were the imposter, so process of elimination. When something like that happens, no one disagrees.

Here is my experience as the imposter: I was in admin and I was trying to look at the thing that tells u how many ppl is in a room and I was too close to the vent so I vented by accident, pink was in there and saw everything so I went out and was about to kill him/her but then purple was there so I had to kill purple caz he/her also saw me vent but when I killed purple I saw two other people so I self reported and said it was pink bc he/she was standing right next to the dead body, he/she got voted out then someone else called an emergency meeting, I said a messed up and told them the whole story, I think no one listened and for some reason they voted black out instead and I was like “wtf bruh I said I was the imposter, why would you vote black?”

MORE TIPS: 24: get a *kill in security* - people can watch what ur doing in security. if u kill the person in there, no one watches u (obvsly dont kill if there's more than one other person). 25: if your a *crewmate*, you've finished ur tasks, and if there's only a few people left and 1 imposter, *hide right at the top of the cafeteria where no one can see u*. 26: if ur *imposter*, say '(...) is *safe*' (e.g 'red is safe') even if u were not with them. and if some1 asks, 'how do u know they're safe?', just say 'i saw them complete a task.' *and now they trust you*.

Will P sadly that happened me today, I saw blue kill lime in electric and I (red) reported it as soon as he was about to vent. I told everyone who it is and the imposter was deflecting everything I said and accused me. I thought I won the game but everyone voted me to get kicked out and blue ended up winning the game despite 4 meetings afterwards. I uninstalled the game because idiots with low IQs hindered my chance at getting an .800 game winning percentage

small tip, if you read the kill cooldown do your electrical tasks after the first meeting or known kill, the reason is when a meeting is called the cooldown is reset and if its not 20 or less it should be a good way to get them done

skip the tutorial: NEVER points fingers and anyone randomly also skip the tutorial: *says the sub button is sus without proof*

Honestly, I think you missed the cardinal rule: Never take things too seriously. You have people who get MAD sweaty in some lobbies. They get super pissed if they lose, or even if something off-the-wall happens. Yes, there is some toxic behavior, such as outing yourself as an imposter as a joke/desire not to play imposter in a two-imposter game and therefor crippling your partner's chances, or being a crewmate and refusing to do tasks because you got voted out unfairly, but, all in all, some chaotic, disruptive "wild card" plays can be fun/funny, so long as you're doing so for the enjoyment of the entire group, not just yourself. In my last game, as the only imposter, I got caught venting. It was only one witness, and it was down to the wire, but instead of going try-hard mode I figured it'd be better to get a laugh out of everyone else by saying that the ship felt a little warm and I was just checking the A/C to make sure it wasn't clogged. Everyone having a good time is better than getting that W in a game where you have no incentive to win.

I was in a game once where one player was getting all worked up and sounded like she was going to burst into tears because we weren't believing her, and then got even *more* offended when we were like "chill, it's just a game"; it was quite annoying. And then you've got people like me: "no I just got there and found it right before orange walked in, and reported it, and I know yelling isn't gonna make you believe me any better but I'm gonna do it anyway because that's what you do in this game!"

YES! Once in a game, I was playing with my friend (purple) and got imposter. I killed white first, because I had them in a good place to kill and not get caught. At the end of the round in the lobby, white went in all caps yelling at me saying they hate me and that I framed purple, their best friend. They even said if they get imposter, they kill me first in broad daylight to take revenge. Take note, purple was my irl best friend who barely talked in game, and I NEVER accused anyone that round, much less her. And thats exactly what white did. I went into medbay to inpect a sample and purple and a bunch of other people came in and saw white kill me. Then, to top it off, white claimed the kill, somehow it got tied between skip and white, and next round white sold out the other imposter black. Worst player Ie played with.

Actually, it is better to do electrical after the first meeting. The kill cooldown is faster at the very start of the game, going alone into electrical is more dangerous. After a meeting, the kill cooldown will reset.

11:21 On the among us Skeld map, do your electrical tasks 2ND ROUND, NOT FIRST ROUND, because in the first round, the kill cooldown is always 10s no matter what. But in the second round the kill cooldown will be default, so it is more likely to have a longer kill cooldown in the game.

The dumbest thing I ever saw someone do was this: The first round just started, but someone called an emergency meaning immediately. This is how the conversation went (forget the colors so I just did random) Red: ??? Green: Huh? Blue(who called the meeting): Why is my name red?? And you can guess what happened next.... *Blue was An Impostor*

If you’re playing in the shelf map and you’re the imposter I have a great strategy for the beginning of the round. Head to electrical through upper engine and walk all the way to electrical. If there’s only one person you can kill, then sabotage lights, and then vent. If you ever head to electrical you can go behind the area where you fix lights and sabotage lights. As people come one by one you can kill them off one by one. But be careful to keep and keep t( task menu open because you might think that lights are still sabotaged but really they’re fixed and you just killed in front of a bunch of people.

Skip the tutorial: It’s bad to kill without sabotage Electrical: Am I a joke to you?

Expectations: Reality: "Purple sus" Everyone: "Yes" *Votes purple*

One time I played among us with my nieces and nephew and brother My oldest niece was the imposter and forgot to turn off her volume or have headphones in, and she murdered my brother so I called her out immediately 😹

To explain the 'shifting blame' - well-experienced players look for patterns in impostor strategies with the player, so with this, you fool people of all skill levels. Just ignore cyan, who seems keen on voting you off every round for no reason.
