These “realistic” physics don’t take into account what direction blocks are facing, no? Iron blocks next to each other would be welded together or logs would be attached instead of already being cut up in pieces for example

I like how everything that suggests "realistic gravity" ignores the fact that it is indeed realistic for things to be in the air, so long as it is supported
Although some things dont make sense in Minecraft, including physics, everything is done perfectly and for a reason, and it makes it the wonderful game it is

How far you could build blocks would depend on the material and the mechanism used to "glue" them together.
0:24 "I don't think you'll be able to do that anymore." *Shows him doing it*
Imagine a hardcore world with these physics I feel people would get so good at it but then they’ll play on another world for a day and come back forgetting about the nether then boom

Couldn’t you theoretically make a timer/ delayed signal with the blocks falling through cobwebs? So when it reaches the bottom an observer sees it an sends a signal

Non recyclable disappearing glass is unrealistic though, in reality glass is one of the most recyclable materials, so you should be able to collect pieces and make new glass which should not lose much quality or quantity if you go for realism. So you could fail as much as you need and lose only small percentage of material but need to recook it to fix it
realistic Physics in Minecraft would apply to other things too. No more Waterlogging different Blocks, because the Water would pretty quick flow downhills and maybe dissaper into the Ground. And dont start anything with Lava. Lava would melt Glass and Metal, so no more blocking Lava behind Glass or inside a Bucket. Not to mention that a single Lavablock on its own would cool down pretty soon and turning into one single Slock of magmatic Stone - so no more infinite Cobblestone-Generators.

To be honest, the realistic gravity would a good idea for Mojang to create a new gamemode where everything in Minecraft follows the laws of physics.
*THE SHAPE OF HE END PORTAL BLOCKS IN HE END*
Normal Minecraft: Normal. Minecraft with realistic gravity: Not so normal.
I mean… it would be useful for those annoying oak trees where unless you piller all the way to the top and remove every single leaf and log, you are more than likely to end up with quite a few unintentional floating trees.

you would need a pretty beefy pc to run mc with realistic physics (depending on how far you go) i’ve been using blender simulations to make particle effects these past few days, and to say my pc doesn’t like doing that is an understatement
Thanks for telling us this stuff we never would know
2:59 is susඞ
Sometimes, we don't need games to be fully realistic. A little silliness helps in making stuff easier to do.
Although realistic physics aren't always great, having realistic graphics for a pixelated-blocky game is strangely good.

Realistic gravity when caves and trees withstand them selves irl
3:02 if you know you know
At this point, everything is re-textured sand
Doesn’t even want to start tackling water
6:20 you could also dig a 1 block hole in the ground to place the bottom soul sand
Imagine building a ship made out of bedrock or iron, and these physics were added in the next update. You load into the world, and your ship is on the bottom of the lake/ocean/river you built it on.
I'm definitely going to test this out in Skyblock.
Holy cow! Now I feel lucky that Minecraft has unrealistic gravity XD
2:16 it'd be more realistic if the block just landed on top of the slabs instead of destroying them, because leaves breaking stone bricks is not very realistic
If Minecraft had realistic physics, then I would have to say "TIMBER!!!!!!!!!!!" Every time I mine a tree
If these get really added my builds will all fall
I would have expected realistic physics to force gritty blocks like dirt and sand to pile up rather than pillar.
the more heavy the storage is, the more the mob takes damage from a falling storage
Minecraft is not about realism, it's more about fun and creativity😁! If you want a realistic survival experience in a blocky sandbox, you probably should try a couple of really good "clones" of Minecraft.
The shape of the end blocks is the end 😂
“Minecraft, but it’s Grian’s nightmare.”
that portal frame position looks pretty sussy 3:00
I feel like gravity won’t apply to blocks ever unless it’s disconnected from a block on the ground
the point of sticky pistons are to stick stuff but it showed stuff falling that was connected to it
If the end was a satterder moon then all block float and go everywhere
3:01 i feel like those end portal blocks were placed manually because, uh, you know why.
ReAlIsTiC aNd FuN.

I am sure I won’t die to the falling blocks in nether, but my computer will
This is kind of sus 😳 2:58
7:00 now the nether really feels dangerous
If realistic physics existed, may hotel would be nothing more than dust, its too tall
4:07 if that happens to Olivia, she would not like that
I wonder what will happen if you remove bedrock with commands. Will the whole world fall into the void?
I thought he was gonna show how the minecart can get launched off a ramp with realistic gravity
The end portal block fell in a weird shape
Is nobody gonna talk about the end portal frames in the end at 3:02
Fun fact: there will always be someone that finds a helpful bug
So if they fall like anvils, then can I drop one from super high and get a damaged waxed lightly weathered cut copper stairs?
Here's an idea: using pots as pillars.
Did anyone notice the endportal frames shaped as a upside down t
It would be chaos

You are advertising the wrong author, since the original ancient author of this was and still is Sasai Kudasai BM!!!! He is also implemented a lot of workaround to avoid breaking things such as the Nether!
Actually, if it all had gravity, the whole world would fall into the void
@johnacetable7201

I guess bedrock is not affected by this. No it's definitely not effected, because otherwise nether and portal in the end would just collapse.
Easy Solutions for this: 1. Glue OR 2. Don't make blocks realistic
@Kahadi
Жыл бұрын
Or make them actually realistic. Bridges do not require a support beam going all the way down to the ground to stand, there are other ways they can get support to stay up. Simplest being tension, like a rope bridge that stays up because the bridge is held up by ropes that are more or less held in place at either end, or even just a makeshift bridge like a log that's longer than the gap.
