I do like your videos. Love the positivity! I'm plus size but 5 ft 8. Full length tends to make me heavy. Will try belts. Also the tuck in of tops in pants or skirts. I find midi looks better on me. I think even short skirts flatter me tho I'm 65. I like skirts with footless tights and tights in winter. Winter short for me in florida. I'm trying to open up to more styles.

Hello from Toronto. I enjoy your channel although a lot of American brands are not available in Canada. I seem to be in a clothing desert where petite plus is too big but most regular petites are too small. Many petite lines are available only online. However, If you try on the regular size in a store to get an idea of what petite size to order, I have often discovered that many petite size 12 items are cut smaller ( smaller chest, waist etc) than the regular size 12 that you tried on in the store.

That's true, straight size petite is scaled down to fit a petite frame so a standard size 12 is actually a size or two smaller in petite. What you want to look for is standard sizing that comes in "short". Not sure if you have them but Gap, Old Navy, and Abercrombie offer "short" options for a lot of their clothes. 😉

Loved this video. What’s the comfortability like for the strappy heels? Can you walk in them throughout the day without discomfort?

I can walk in them for about 5 hours before they start to dig in a bit.

I am so impressed. To find a channel that speaks to those of us who are plus size with respect and wonderful options is so unique! I know! I was thinking about it recently that a couple of years ago you could only find linen on places like Farfetch or Net-a-Porter and now it’s everywhere. It’s not a bad thing, IMO. 😃

Just enjoy watching you and I think you have opened my mind to styles I could or didn’t think I could wear. Example the wrap dress. Could you get the front pooch on your trousers altered? I have one of those stomachs that needs a tummy tuck and I know that it is hard to find slacks that aren’t too big in the legs if they fit my stomach.

I’m wondering if you have ever tried the lantern pant. I’m 5’2 and have a terrible time buying pants. Nothing seems to flatter my body type.

I have not, I don’t think it will work for a round, petite body type. Of course I haven’t tried it so I can’t say if I would like it anyway. 😉

Hello, This was very well done. I will have to check out a number of these items and make some hard choices. I wear nylon slips under my dresses and skirts. Years ago when I was young I had a white 100 percent cotton camisole and half slip. It’s so humid now where I live that I plan to look for another cotton half slip. Oralia, do you like the Amazon satin slip skirt better than the target one you showed in another video? They seemed to be each cut in a different way.

I'm going to try the Amazon linen pants bc I've been having issues with finding ones that fit properly after gaining weight during the pandemic. I picked up some from Old Navy on a good sale but they stretch out way too much during a wearing. May I ask you if you have a travel steamer recommendation? Using hotel irons can be a PITA. The steamer I showed is a travel steamer. I forgot to mention it comes apart making it easier for packing. I plan to take mine to Europe later this summer. 😉

Yeah, definitely need a medium rise, maybe 8 - 10 inches . A straight leg is also not bad.
