Ursaring into Ursaluna. It was fine for the community day, but if you happen to need to do it afterwards, you have to wait for a full moon. And if you miss one you have to wait an entire month to do it. Definitely has to to be one of the worst evolutions to do

Sadly, nope, full moon irl does not equal full moon in game. I found that out the hard way a little over a month ago when the full moon did not yield a working evolve button. There was plenty of press about other players being confused by it too.

use a phone rocker/swing to get "walk ?? KM" pokemon easily.

A tip for the raid one is use your worst pokemon and get knocked out when you go back into the raid itll show you did another raid - Best way if you don’t wanna spend 10 dollars

You can also just go into the battle, hit flee, and hit rejoin, repeat. Saves you on potions and time and you can probably knock out most (if not all) of the 10 with a single free pass

One of the annoying ones for me have been the Galatian slowpoke evolutions. You need to catch 20 psychic type Pokemon or poison type Pokemon depending on if you want Slowbro or slowking.

If it's not around Halloween that angry panda can be hard to evolve because you need to catch 32 dark type Pokemon I think.

Hisuian Qwilfish to Overqwil also requires 10 raids. Super annoying because I always forget to make him my buddy before raiding.

In my opinion, raid tasks make for the hardest ones to evolve, with lure evolutions coming right after. However, it seems to me that no one has mentioned the truly HARDEST Pokémon to evolve right now… Cosmoem -> Solga/Lunala

One day I was walking by and there a single Magikarp just there flopping around . I clicked it because why not I need candy for Gyarados and it was a shiny. It was my first shiny that was not event base either and that really made my day :)

You can get the special items by playing PvP and winning twice per set of 5 or by battling the trainers (Blanche/Candella/Spark) once per day. You can also possibly get these items from battling with other players and from research breakthroughs.

That original Feebas you had to evolve... that was a rough one. lol

Galarian slowpoke and pancham can be a hassle depending on the event going on

i remember when you could get the evo items so much easier( idk if it was battle rewards or pokestops or both) but i have like 10 saved of each.

The most annoying evolution to top this list in my opinion is Gimmighoul to Gholdengo. Though this was released a week after this video, getting the 999 coins without utilising gold lure modules nonetheless was just awful.

Today my friend at lunch hatch a shiny shundo pawnarid he didn’t realize until he appraised it

For me evolving my Pawmo into Pawmot was pretty hard I had to walk 25km but my shiny feebas is going to be hard to evolve as well at 20km

i struggle with wailmer, swablu and magikarp, because they all require 400 candies to evolve, there are probably more but those 3 are the first to come to mind

Back in my day getting Magikarp candy was kinda difficult. Now we have over 2K or even 5K candy due to the Magikarp C-Day or other events. 🐠 Also You forgot about Meltan evolving into Melmetal. Not only does it take 400 candy but you either has to have Pokémon Home or Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu to access the Mystery Box. Not to mention you can ONLY evolve a Meltan in Pokémon Go and collecting 400 candy could take you weeks to do! 🍬

2 options to evolve Meltan if you dont have a Nintendo Switch 1. Use your rainbow candies to your Meltan (Everyone will mostly use because of the 2.) 2. Walk with a Meltan until you get 400 candies but it will be 394-397 candies and you will get one every 20 km So .. 397*20 = 7,940 km I dont think anyone will walk that much for a simple pokemon

Everyone can connect to Pokemon Home if they create a Nintendo account. It's really easy to do. You don't need a Switch for that. If you open the Mystery Box twice (3 days apart), have a Steel Pokemon Mega Evolved (Aggron is probably the easiest to use but Steelix and Scizor work, too), and use Pineapps, you'll get 400+ candy and probably enough XL candy to max it. My Lucky Hundo Melmetal was the first Pokemon I maxed out to Level 50.

No, its easy just switch feebas to your buddy when going in car/bus,boat or something slow moving can also go up and down a hill

I mean with Eevee there is a truck you can use to get the specific evolution you want but it only work once

mystic can you do a version of completeing your collection but a shiny and you go over the ones your missing as well

For the excellent throws I took advantage of my buddy Pokemon's bounce back perk. Also my first shiny was a Woobat

i missed a Galarian Zapdos yesterday in pokrmon go. its the next day and im still crying.

About evolution items. I was talking to one of my friends, and man had over 10 unova stone. This was surprising to me because I only had a single unova stone but I had like 15 sinnoh stones and he had none of those.

Bro eeve evolution is done by the state of weather . it means that consider now raining if u evolve it u can obtain vaporean like wise

You forgot Scyther, it also needs a Metal Coat to evolve it to a Scizor

for eevee, it'll depend on its CP, from my experience, around 720-850 cp will guarantee a vaporeon

You should have included more of Eevee's evolutions because getting their friendships up to three hearts (for Sylveon) or up 2 and wait for correct day/night (for Umbreon or Espeon) is very frustrating. You also need a glacier lure module for Glaceon and a Grass lure module for Leafeon.

Tip for flareon, jolteon, and vaporeon: you can name your eevee for those eeveelutions as well

Sligoo into goodra for sure I don’t really wanna spend 180 coins on a rainy lure and waiting for it to rain is annoying

For eevee you can name it something to guarantee a specific type like “Kira” makes it evolve into sylveon

Im actually trying to evolve far fetched right now it’s not really the hardest but it’s kinda hard.

I see a lot of people replying to me that Cosmoem is easy. I would like to point out that you are either required to spend several rare candies on it, or instead walk 20km to get a candy. You need a lot more than 1 candy. I am not talking about the TASK to evolve it, that is incredibly easy, yes. However, the candy requirement is what makes it challenging, and will continue to make it challenging if/when Cosmog appears more in the future.

Some of the hisuian(?) pokemon are pains to evolve too.

Hisuian qwilfish and hisuian sneasel are a pain to evolve as well

With the 120 excelent throws you have to do for the recent master ball event i became an expert 😅

I remember finding a golden magikarp, not knowing what it was, getting excited, and realizing I had no pokeballs

Daily insence works for spritzee if ur struggling with it

You know, I used to have a shiny bellosom but it was on my old account and now I don’t have any of the other shinies.

Shiny Eevee isn’t random you just have to use a lower module Next to a PokéStop and it should show up with the one you want

Just a fun fact, you can name your Eevees to make it a Pacific type of eeveelutions like the name Rainier gets Vaporeon and Pyro gets Flareon.

I label any of those that require X distance walked or X number of raids won as “BS Ev Reqs”. I also have my Ursaring labeled as such since I found out that, despite all the other real world events referenced as mechanics for features in the game, a full moon in real life does not necessarily correspond to a full moon in the game.

Some Pokemon don't rely completely on RNG. Giving certain nicknames will give you a certain evolution.

I got lucky with my shiny Clamperl, had 2, evolved them & they both turned into shiny Gorebyss & Huntail

Florgess - earn 20 hearts with your buddy Swirlix - give him 25 BERRYS

I’m so lucky. I was in japan and needed to evolve a magnaton, but i didn’t want to spend money for a magnetic lure. Right as I walked out of a station, low and behold a magnetic lure was placed down by someone. First and last time one ever seen a magnetic lure
