Frankie Valli was in top form opening night on Broadway! Paul Shaffer and Dr. Oz were in the audience. Paul had just done an interview with Frankie for PBS that airs soon. And Frankie introduced Dr. Oz as his heart doctor... I was thrilled to be able to meet him and shake Frankie's hand!!!

I just went to his concert tonight. I gaurantee he was singing. No soundtrack, lip sinc. It was him. I am a musician and have been for 51 yrs, and I know what to look for to tell if it's lipsinced or not. He wasn't lip sincing. I'm not sure in other concert halls, but the one I was in was small compared to Vegas. And they left us get up to the stage and he shakes ur hand while singing. I assure u he was singing.

LOL you dumb bitch. My pal was in the touring band. Frank isn't singing and hasn't been since at least 2002. thats why its not a sole billed band. The ever changing lineup of Four Seasons are singing live. Your literally paying to hear a back up cover band and Frank lyp singing to pre recorded tracks. RIPOFF.

I have pretty much the same views on the things he spoke about in this interview. I was in the record business from the early early 60s. I was listening and loving music througout the 50s. I can identify with all of what Frankie is saying . I guess you could say we are " old school"After Murray the K died, WINS replaced him with DJ Johnny Holiday. Johnny sent me to two top record producers and i got a contract with them. This is a wonderful interview because it gives you an insight as to how Frankie feels about many things and his opinions on various issues.

I listen to this interview of Frankie and compare them to other interviews I've seen of his when he was much younger, it becomes enormously evident that interviews of older, wiser people are certainly of much higher value and are more interesting. All that wisdom and experience that Frankie gained over the year gives a more interesting and more valuable perspective to the interview. What this proves is that everyone should respect, heed, and value what the elders of our society have to say rather than what the young punks have to say. There are many other cultures in the world that put their elderly up on a pedestal and they listen to them and obey their advice for obvious reasons. But America is different. In American culture today, younger people haven't been parented properly and taught to respect their elders. It's pretty disgusting actually.

So here's my take on Frankie Valli - First, he's a legend who has given so much to the world of music. Second, yes I do think he's been lip syncing most of his concerts since 2006ish. (However, plenty of other people much younger have been caught lip syncing too. Frankie's not guilty of anything that someone else hasn't already done) If you watch 1990s concerts you can tell he's having problems with the falsetto and the magical cure was to auto tune his voice in a studio recording and lip sync to it (which he's done for nearly 20 years now). As for myself, I saw him during the summer of 2022 and while he most likely lip synced most of the show, it was still amazing to see HIM (the legend, the man, Frankie Valli) the cost was worth just hearing him talk about the music and tell stories. The music while prerecorded was good and Frankie did seem to be singing along with his track at least when I saw him. At the end of the day the guy is 88 years old and I can see where he looks kinda rough/tired/lifeless at some shows that are probably past his bedtime but I'm happy to say the show I saw he seemed in great shape and seemed to be enjoying himself. Thirdly, I want to address the claims that Frankie can't sing anymore. That is ridiculously false. Sure maybe he's lost his falsetto over the years but the guy can still sing! Yes he lip syncs his concerts but that doesn't mean he can't sing. If you want to know what his voice really sounds like today, buy one of his newest albums (Tis The Season, Romancing the 60s, A Touch of Jazz) When asked about his most recent album A Touch of Jazz, Frankie admitted that it had taken 3 years to record. So obviously he can still sing but I'm sure he has good days and bad days. (I sound a lot better on certain days myself) If he's only recording on his good days, that could explain why he sounds good on the new albums and also why it takes him years to record one. Keep in mind he NEVER attempts falsetto on his new albums. There's my thoughts on Frankie Valli. Hope he's around for many more seasons!

Talked to an old friend who was in his touring band at the time and he said its a biG hush hush that FRANKS VOICE IN RECORDED. Sad too because its totally legal . the tickets are billed as Frankie Valli and the four season. The Four seasons are singing live Frank is not.. Keeps the concert legal.
