    I just did the whole list of workout today. The plan is to do it 1min the workout & rest 90second for every 4mins workout. 22 workouts as per list + abt 5 single leg / lunges (to balance both sides). Total 27 workout equivalent 27mins. 27 div 4 equiv 7x rest abt 11mins rest Means 27mins wkout + 11mins rest, total wkout estimated time be 38mins. But only after I have completed all the workout, I realised that I took more than 60mins 🤣🤣🤣🤣.. I will definitely do it again. I should say that it is the best workout. Thank you Cori, you are amazing.

    When the bell is in the rack position, do you not need to squeeze the elbow closer to your body? I only ask as all the videos I have learned from the people always say by squeezing your elbow closer to your body it engages your lats and so stabilizes the shoulder? Thanks

  • @redefiningstrengthOC

    @redefiningstrengthOC

    7 жыл бұрын

    Well I am engaging my back to stabilize. If I was doing the racked position and doing a clean or a jerk, I would keep my elbow all the way in by my body. Especially because with those movements you can even then rest your elbow on your hip and be efficient with the movement. In this case though I'm still engaging my back and really working my core :-)

What weight do you suggests for a 110lbs lean female that can be use for both upper body movements but that is heavy enough for exercises like goblet squats, deadlifts etc, to develop and maintain good legs definition? Thanks!! I loved your channel, your style is different and love that you incorporate complex movements! Its unique! SUBSCRIBED!

    Thank you! So that's a super tough question. I have clients of that weight and they use anything from 8kg to 32 kg. It is about lifting strength. So I guess I would find the max you can press with good form and get that and then just do higher reps for your legs or even get a second one of the same weight. :-)

    Hi Corey, curious about the kettleball swing @ min. 1:27... how safe is this set safe for the Back? You post every Friday and that sounds great. I'm lifetimer for the gym, but break away time to time. Now I'm " trying " to motivate back into it. I may subscribe to your channel for motivation.

  • @redefiningstrengthOC

    @redefiningstrengthOC

    If done correctly the kb swing is 100% safe for the back. And even clients who've had "back issues" can do it with proper rebuilding. But just like any hip hinge movement, if you aren't aware of what you feel working and proper loading patterns you can get injured. But there is nothing inherent in the movement that would hurt your back. It's actually a great glute move!

    Bought this for my youngest to develop basic form for single hand kettlebell work. kzread.infoUgkxtaDAl93XF8wxJhssTtjIFjzid82wglva It has a nice grip on it, just a little rough so it isn't slippery. I was doing a few rotator cuff exercises to test and worked well for those movements I'd been doing with a regular dumbbell. Cool thing you can do is hold it in your hand for door-knob turns to work the forearm and grip. Note: it's small, almost all handle, but that's what I expected given the weight. Smallest I've worked with before is 15lbs, so it was kind of funny to see the difference 10lbs makes.

    Redefining Strength workouts you do kick ass, but as far as a six week macro program, cmon its calories in calories out, burn more calories then you consume and you will burn fat. Don't be full of it like 99% of all fitness bull shit

    Hi Giuseppe. Thanks for liking the workouts. And I agree that calories in vs calories out does matter, but body composition changes aren't that simple. I'm proof of that. You can see it in my videos. You can see videos where I get thinner and have cut calorie and then gain a bit and until more recent ones where there is an obvious shift in body composition due to the change in my macros. I've dieted throughout my entire life and been an athlete. I competed at college and managed my calories. I was thin. Actually 7-10lbs lighter than I am now. But I never had abs show. No matter how many calories I cut. The first time my body composition really changed was when I started focusing on protein. Because calories aren't created equal. Calories from candy are NOT the same as calories from meat, rice and veggies. So while you are entitled to your opinion, my clients and I would disagree with you based on our struggles and the results from focusing on not only calories but also protein, carbs and fat ratios. In this article I discuss some of the science if you are interested. My intent is to help myself and my clients get results. I could have made simply a program based around calorie counting if that had worked...But it didn't. redefiningstrength.com/carb-cycling-vs-macro-cycling/

    Redefining Strength obviously candy is not the same as real food, Whole Foods that once grew will benefit you and your clients also grow, the problem is not your structure you offer but the fact that people feel donuts and coffee are a normal breakfast. Believe it or not I get look at strangely when I eat raw broccoli and raw carrots for breakfast, and then have the same person talk about a processed protein supplement, if you eat whole natural foods and exercise regularly you will get results. No need for bullshit tactics just go back to Mother Nature. Nothing has changed for 1000's of years. I'm not fighting with you I'm a big fan and would love to be trained by you, I'm just sick and tired of fitness bullshit

    I'm not arguing just presenting what I feel has worked and do not feel in anyway that what I'm promoting is "fitness bullshit." We will just agree to disagree. But I believe in what I put out otherwise I wouldn't put out the program :-) It has worked for me and my clients so as with my videos, I just want to share what I've learned.

    How can that be a sumo squat if your hips are higher than your knees? That's more like sumo deadlift to me!

  • @nvcn86
    @nvcn865 жыл бұрын

    That's a sumo deadlift... If you lift the weight from the floor, it's a deadlift. Why would you call it a squat. First exercise and you lose all possible credibility. Wtf

  • @redefiningstrengthOC

    @redefiningstrengthOC

    You know that isn't the definition of a squat right? A deadlift is a HIP HINGE movement vs a squat is a knee dominant movement. You can place the load where ever you so choose. But BYE FELICIA!
