@@renea8724 I ended up doing my own sapphire small knotless braids. I didn’t do them bcz I thought I’d be done with physical therapy and back to work by now. I’ll do them when I’m released to go back to work in a couple months. But doing half n half isn’t a bad idea. That looks great too.

My attention span left five minutes later had to fight to stay and see the end result, to sit through all that, big respect for both of you.

I love them too, it's a great protective style, and they make my hair grow back fast and thick.

I love your work. I'm coming to San Diego. What I appreciate most is it looks natural and doesn't have knots in the beginning of the braid. This is one of the best I have seen yet.

Mannnn I salute you on that ! I don’t think I could do Micro box braids lol. The Only thing I will do is Small, Medium or large . And even this one time it took me 13 hours to do some small box braids on one of my clients .

Yes these are Micros!! What I have been seeing is too big to be considered micros. This is just how I remember my mom doing mine for the first time for 6th grade thank you for this video!

I used to get micro braids back in the day in like 2000 man those things took 12 hours or more had to basically block out a whole day and then taking them down was like a week to 2 weeks process depending on how lazy I was I uses to love them but I love braid wigs now. With wigs no pain no take down no new growth always look fresh.

Great work mama. How many bags of hair used? It is light weight or like heavy? Did you do these all in one sitting? Why start braiding but not finish each braid b4 moving to the next? Does this method help to lessen the time?

I plan on putting me some in this weekend. I did another big chop in Jan. my hair has grown enough to get grip action in effect. It's about to be spring and I need a style that brings versatility. What is a reasonable price for micros these days?

I retired from doing other people hair. I too was 8 months pregnant when I did this on someone hair. This was 20 years ago. I said never again while pregnant. I did it in one day, but it was micros with human hair, so I didn't have to braid all the way to the ends, but her hair was long and thick. It was a long 12 hrs, with very little breaks. The only hair I would do these day are my children, and they don't want these ever again. They are micro out!!! Lol!!! Great job!!! I use to like doing these, but my fingers, and body in general says NO!!!!! 🙋🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️🤗

This is beautiful!! It looks soooo good! I would wear this style, but I want like 5 or 6 braiders on my head at once. I would keep this is for 6 months.

@@nycdyke2867 think about how much having your hair braided by 6 people woild hurt...and i would only have one person braiding my hair knowing it would probaly take 24 hours considering that my small box braids took 12 hours and im tender headed asf

​@@shoryacione5175 It's not supposed to hurt. If it hurts, it means that your hair is too tight, which could cause breakage. This is a different case for tender headed people though, because it would hurt regardless since the hairstylist has to pull and braid extremely small amounts of hair at a time. Which is the reason why it's not recommended that tender headed people should get microbraids unless they're crotched in (or maybe are loosely braided). Though, if they were loosely braided, the hairstyle wouldn't last as long and wouldn't really be worth it.

Yes you can wash. You can interlock from here for locs. You can also remove once your hair reaches the desired length because it will get heavier on your roots with the extensions.
