Coming from the standpoint of a dental professional, I can say carbon is not helpful to brush with. If anything, it is counter productive. It may have some whitening effects, but the powder gets stuck in your gum lines. Since it does not dissolve, the carbon stays inside your gums, acting as an irritant. This can cause problems such as receding gums and sensitivity. Honestly, I think it's ridiculous that people say something is good for you without even knowing what they're talking about. My suggestion is don't try this

It adds extra shine and whiteness, but you probably want to use a store brought charcoal toothpaste.

oh god. Do not swish coke. The reason your teeth get "whiter" is because your enamel is GONE and your teeth get chalky. ENAMEL DOESN'T GROW BACK. And glue and charcoal on your face removes all the "good" stuff your body produces to help clean your pores naturally. D:

Letrie lol, she's trying to look cute it that's why. Regardless no one should try the those hacks, they will ruin your teeth.

Please don't try Ice Water to dry your nails, it's won't really work. What it does is temporarily freezes the polish. You think they are dry, only to find out a few minutes later that the polish has been smudged off because you touched something with wet nails.

I’m a pharmacist and get so tired of people asking for charcoal tablets because of these videos. Just buy Crest Whitestrips like a normal person! You’d end up spending the same amount buying all the ingredients and in gas money driving all over town looking for charcoal. Brushing with pure baking soda scratches tooth enamel, as does aluminum foil. Also, Biore pore strips are $7 a box. Do you really think it’s a good idea to put GLUE on your face instead?

I agree with you on some of what I saw but some people cannot whiten with Crest Whitestrips of any of the whitening products on the market. I tried 2 of them & I am one of those unlucky people who get white dots all over my teeth & the rest will not whiten. I was told that it's because my dingy tooth stains are in the teeth, under the enamel from so many of certain medications since my childhood. The actually caused most of my staining. The only time I get any results is if I make a paste of baking soda & peroxide once or twice a week. I also use Crest 3D White toothpaste that helps but it takes a long time to see results. I get so ticked off when I see the commercial with the tissue test. They complain that their teeth are yellow. I will take their "yellow" teeth any day over what I'm stuck with. Any suggestions on what would help me considering the reason my teeth are yellow, grayish? I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

I usually like those videos but some of those hacks are very dangerous ! Don't put anything on your teeth before asking a dentist about it. You could ruin your teeth for good ! Same goes for your skin, ask for a medical opinion. Even natural things like lemons can have bad consequences. And definitely dont use glue that's meant for paper on your skin.

Or you could just put your under ware in drawer like everyone else🤷🏻‍♀️

It's not about it getting dirty, it's about wasting your makeup.. the blender is very porous and absorbs a lot of your foundation, by covering it it can't absorb your liquid makeup and waste product.. like a DIY silicone blender.. not that I'd want my face to smell like condoms.

The blackhead remover is actually super dangerous

Acid destroys yours teeths, so soda, some fruits, coffee and etc. are not okay. The tooth have a protection layer, so the Acid destroys it, actually you Will Get the brightness but not for a long time. The carbono tips I heard its not good too, but i dont know How explain why.
