This video outlines 21st century learning for educators and teachers using the framework from Partnership for 21st Century Learning website. In this video, 21st century life skills are divided into two components, the first being student outcomes, and the second being support systems for teachers. Student outcomes are broken down into four different categories. The first category is Key subjects and 21st century themes that cross between disciplines within school curriculum. The second part of student outcomes is information, media, and technology along with digital citizenship and student online safety. The next category is learning environments, learning skills, and innovation skills. And the last section of student outcomes is life and career skills. Career skills are something that educators need to focus on in their classroom. The second component of this is the educator and student support systems. This student support systems is dividing into five parts, the first being 21st century standards, the second being assessments for these life skills and career skills, the next one is curriculum and assessments, which is then followed by professional development, and lastly learning environments.

Yes... it demands a lot from teachers. I believe teachers should be given a sort of training in order to cope with all that.

But teachers are hard to judge the outcome because of lack of real-experience. I think it demands much from teachers.

it's a nice presentation; but we are in corporate age, trying to spoon feed children for fees, if we just do this for specially abled children or kids with low i.q it's ok, but for every one means it's a torture for teachers, initially they get low salaries and adding to that these kind of too much things, we should let children to really use their brains.

this is a good goal to have, but this is going to ask much from teachers maybe even too much, and this curriculum will also flush out more low IQ and mental health problem students that can't keep up

the reason this I left the video after 11 seconds : The insect animation ( 0:31) was too distracting to pay attention to the topic. the reason I spent one minute writing this comment: Would come back to your channel if you change that one feature.
