I'm glad I found this. I have a 2000 335 4x4 with bad rings. Polaris no longer makes replacements and after market is 800 bucks!

Ive done this a couple times 2wds with 212 are best cause theres no cutting. Ill also use the primary clutch from 30 series and the polaris secondary. Widest belt from tractor supply. 35 to 40 mph.

Great job what bolts did you use to hold down the engine to the plate size?

I would have loved to, but it was over my $100 budget 😬 It still runs great though and does everything I ask of it around the farm. I'm happy with it. I'll go for a bigger motor on the next one 🙃

Would have been a lot cheaper and easier to replace the whole top end the aftermarket is loaded with new parts

Yes it would have been easier, but in the scheme of things I don't have registration and I cannot get registration for it because it was abandoned at a dealership. Right now I have $119 into a predator motor and maybe 50 bucks in the sprockets and chain in $100 four wheeler that I could sell as a go kart for what I have into it. If I fix it up without registration I would never get my money back. Plus this way it's a lot safer for my daughter ☺️
