Would you be kind enough to enlist all of the best ?
Sometimes I find it difficult to read books in general, as I lose my train of thought. So I decided that I will use the narrators voice to help me read Sherlock Holmes this time. It makes things much more immersive and easier to read 👍👍 Thanks for your great narration skills!
I listen to a broad spectrum of audiobooks. You are my favourite narrator.

I say, my dear Mr. Wagland, your entire repertoire is simply smashing. Thank you for reading all of these wonderful stories and entertaining so many tens of thousands of people (conservatively speaking). So, cheers! from the mountains of NC USA. I am certain that Sir Arthur would have been glad to shake your hand.

Many thanks for your kind words! Hope not too cold up in the mountains! All the best.
My husband teases me for using KZread to listen to audiobooks but I crochet while I listen so I don’t need video. Plus, this is relaxing and quiet. Sure, sometimes it puts me to sleep but that’s ok, too 😂

Really love this. I listen to this every time I get in my truck and every time I get a chance at my construction job. I get weird looks when they ask what I'm listening to, but I do not care. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is truly a treasure, and the narrator is superb.

Thank you 😉
Thx Greg. Another great production!!
Nicely done. I'm looking forward to other stories such as "The Devil's Foot," where your impressions of a Cornish accent will be put to the test; "Greek Interpreter," which will also test your impression of a Greek accent; and "Wisteria Lodge."

If I’m remembering correctly there were two actors who portrayed Watson in Granada series with Jeremy Brett. David Burke and Edward Hardwick. The tie in there is his father Sir Cecil Hardwick played Holmes many years earlier.
Another very well done Greg. Marsrerful.

For those similarly puzzled like me, there was not a broom waiting at the door of 221B. The word you'll need to google is 'brougham' :) . I had to look up the story text.

LOL. I've come to the comments because I wondered if someone had explained the "broom", which I always thought was pronounced bro-am.
This was a wonderful reading. TY so much.
It has been over a week that except from working hours of my clinic, I am stuck in my bed traveling to bygone era of nineteen hundred s that too thousands of Miles away from my present place. My god I can't explain and express myself bcz you know I have not yet come out of events that are happening around me with Holmes.........
Superb narration and reading - I had the series narrated by Stephen Fry but I was so put off by his reading that I could never finish even one story. I no longer have spare time to read and like to listen to stories as I work. I settled to listening to the Jeremy Brett TV series instead and feared I would never indulge in true Holmes again thank you for setting those fears aside and making it so!

In the original book ( _Memoirs_ ) "The Greek Interpreter" is between "Resident Patient" and "Naval Treaty". edit: here it is kzread.info/dash/bejne/X4pq3M2xlNW9cs4.html

There are still Ramblers. Ofter the rambles are organised. Sometimes map and compass cross country. A ramble is just a walk with out a rigid fixed schedule apart from start and finish. IE A leisurely pace, with time to stop and survey the sights or chat to the odd fellow or two (Or the not so odd, Ha!).
Fantastic relax ...
I actually did not know until now that in the UK the first floor is above the ground floor, similarly to Europe - 10:17 , 18:31 . Caused me some momentary confusion till I put it together. :)

Rather unfortunate. The Resident Patient was not as "patient" with honest men as he may have wished.
I say, good show Mr Holmes good show. ( it takes me two or three days to stop sounding like Sherlock Holmes after listening to a case) you filthy swine. Oh wait, that's Inspector Clouseau isn't it?

Forget about hating it unless you have very good reason to. In later life School or the dong well at school can become your saviour. School is just a brick house institution. Can not be demolished generally. But it's the gate way to College and then University. So you may as well replace the hate with love and if there are things or people with in the School institution worth hating then hate them. But not the actual school itself. If in school you get education teaching English or mathematics then those are lovables and should not be hated. ACD had a massive amount of education to get him to where he got to. Good School reports are what is 'Respect'. Not bad reports.
