All great tips for those not knowing or needing a reminder. I do have one input, the engine stop switch (kill switch) should only be used in emergencies or to input the pin code.
@TravelingTall
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment but that's wrong. You always use the kill switch when turning off the bike. Now I'm curious, how many people don't? 🤔 * Comment below * "Use" or "Don't" use the kill switch?

@@TravelingTall I've never used it and was also taught that at MMI. I'm also curious. Maybe you can do a video interview with one of the Techs there to see what their input is on the subject, 🤷🏽♂️.

I only use it on my FXR with the 124 because of the heavy duty clutch won’t let me hit neutral. I’m going to adjust it .

Brother, that dealership ought to hire you as their trainer for all the sales people. That was an exceptional good piece explaining all those items!

I’m trying to get into sales at a dealer and I’m using these videos to help learn about the bikes
I'm 79 years old and I ride a 2004 Heritage Softail Classic. I Live in Charles City County, VA. and just got back into motorcycles in May of this year after 54 years absence. I'll be moving up to a touring bike in the spring of 23.
Brother Tall, perhaps you’re already pursuing this; HD should/must hire you (independent contractor) as “The Voice of Harley D.” There could be different episodes covering a variety of topics. You have the passion, people skills, product knowledge, riding experience and your demeanor is refreshing. God’s strength be with you my Brother. Peace.

Agreed!! Get that voice on the brand and bikes will sell.
Excellent video sir. You just taught me more about my motorcycle than every salesman who's ever delivered a motorcycle to me combined.

My first bike, the only thing the salesman told me was which lever was the clutch! lol I was totally green, and very lucky to survive that first few weeks.

Goldwing great bike, I owned 3 of them and was looking to buy a forth one but they didn’t make one in 2011, so I been riding Harley-Davidsons every since. But I still love the Wings
WELL DONE, THANK YOU!!
Hi Tall, this is Gert from The Netherlands, riding a ‘21 Road King Special in Deadwood Green and a ‘03 Fat Boy anniversary. I love your channel and although I ride motorcycles for a long time it’s always nice to learn something from fellow riders. Keep up the good work my man 👍
Those were some great tips. Thank you For sharing them With us.
Thank you. Great information.
Great video! I dropped a fob while on a ride in Tombstone. Fortunately, a rider in the group knew how to start without a fob and also the default code to start it. I have my own code set (I went back and found the fob) now but had forgotten how to access it. After this video I will go out into the garage and check it out. I have the code in my wallet since 2020. Thanks for posting this.
This was a fantastic refresher. Thanks!
Thank you for all the tips. Great job!
2021 road glide special, and I’m from the Knoxville area. I was actually at bootlegger yesterday while you were filming this
This was brilliant, Tall, I learned some things that I didn’t expect to. Thanks for the effort you have put into this video. ✌️
Great info thanks for sharing.
Very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
I would like to see that this is hands down the absolute excellent best educational and informative video explaining the functions of a motorcycle I've ever seen in my entire life and I'm 61 years old and have been a biker my entire life! You explain things so amazingly simple and clearly! Thank you so very very much, I was one of them **_ FOUR *_C guys where you stated that you are so excited about buying your bike that you just don't really pay attention to anything you're being told because you're just so ecstatic of your bike, you are awesome at what you do on these videos and you definitely have the right career because you are a people person. I am Hawk from Eastern North Carolina about 60 miles east of Raleigh North Carolina and I bought a 2006 new to me Road Glide ironically a year tomorrow isn't that ironic? I had not written or owned a bike in 19 years it took 19 years for me to get back to being able to own a bike and I am thrilled and it is a beautiful beautiful bike. Thank you again for this video and I will definitely subscribe and look at all your other videos. May you and your family friends and loved ones have a very very Merry Christmas and a happy healthy and safe New Year! Again I thank you. Hawk. I stumbled across your video today and the date of today is 12:17- 22, I just can't believe how ironic it is that I stumbled across this video and tomorrow makes one year I had my bike.
Throwing in a comment to help your algorithm! 22 RG is my first bike ever. 3,500 miles of riding experience. I ride in the south so fortunately I don’t have a real winter cycle causing the bike to sit. Regarding the safety pin and transportation mode was very insightful. Slammed us with some knowledgeable tips! Thank you!
You did a great job Tall !! Thank you very much.
Thank you for the great tips.
Thank you for the info. I bought a 2016 Ultra Limited a little over a year ago and as you mentioned I was really tired but excited when I bought it. I only knew the things I had learned on uTube prior to buying the bike. The salesman wasn’t much help and I soon found out that I knew more about it than he did. By the way, I bought a 2016 FLHTK. Thanks again for your videos. I’ve been following you for some time now and will continue to do so.
Nice review keep up the good work Traveling tall
Thank you, Brother. So helpful.
Thanks for sharing that information
Obama with a Harley career... I dig that brother. I learn like gazillion things with just this video and I was looking for a video like this for a long time specially the fact that I just bought a Road King FLHP in about a month ago. And that key thing is super helpful. The part where you can actually set your own pin or even ride it off without the FOB! Thanks man, I can't thank you enough and we kinda do the same thing in KZread for those that needs help. Never thought I would appreciate something someone else does here beside me, and it's been awhile since all KZreadrs are just floating the community and not taking their times to help and demonstrate. Like, subs and comment for sure 😃

Very good tips, bought my 1st Harley back in February and the dealer didn't go over any of the things you covered with exception of how to turn it on and how to lock the bars. I bought a 2020 Street Glide Special with 97miles on it, riding out of PA.

Bootlegger HD needs to put you on the payroll😀
I ride an '03 Roadking Anniversary FLHRCI because many of the Harley mechanics I talked with say the '03 models are Harley's best because they represent the company's 100 year milestone. Enjoyed your video and insight into the complicated electronics the newer bikes have. Good job. Nevada rider now from Alaska.
That was an excellent video and topic.

Lots of good info. Just got my new 2023 Road Glide. Thanks for posting!
2018 ultra classic. Thanks for the tutorial. Great info.
Great video brother...can you do a video on the do's and dont's of buying a Harley?
I ride a 16 Road Glide Ultra and a 04 CBR1000RR. Riding in the great state of NC. I know you used to always say Street Glide or no Glide but I see you having more Road Glides in your videos and I’m loving it. Both are great bikes and the next bike I get will be a Street Glide so I can have both Glides. Keep making those videos. BTW I have a bunch of Custom Dynamics lights on my Road Glide too and I absolutely love them.

That’s awesome. Not many harley owners have a sport bike to go along with it. I have a 17 ultra limited and a 08 zx600 myself. Mad respect for people on 1k though lol im terrified of them.

Hey cool brother! I have a 93 heritage and 2013 tri-glide. What a co-ink-e-dink!
Thanks for the tips, I bought a 2022 Harley-Davidson Heritage in May and I was told about starting without the key fob but wasn’t told how to use it or reset the code however I found how to in the manual and found only two KZread videos showing how it’s done. I keep my code and how to activate it on my iPhone that is always with me. I didn’t know about the battery tender plug until I bought a battery tender to keep the battery charged in the hot Las Vegas summer. Love your videos and rides! P.S. I just bought the Sena 50s do you have a video on how to connect to a GoPro to record while riding?
Great info, thanks! Ken Seanard 2021 Ultra
2010 heritage. Nice video ty for the tips / reminders.
