My favorite thing about this album is that it was a mixture of anger and boredom that drove Joel to make this it. IIRC the story was that his internet was out for a full week and his ISP was twiddling their thumbs doing all of nothing. So he just opened Mixcraft and started shitposting to a bad midi of the Ghostbusters theme he had on his hard drive. And it kind of just...well...you can see the insanity it devolved into from there.

Kinda disappointed Ghost Boston (the legit metal song) didn't get more of a rise out of him. It's a brilliant subversion of the rest of the album.

some one wrote an essay on this album because joel himself said it was all connected. i won't do the whole thing but it basically sums up to "Insane Lactose intolerant man blames ghosts for shit"

1/3 of the way through, I can’t believe I’m actually considering watching this whole thing. 2/3 of the way in, why is this actually kinda entertaining Song over, standing ovation

The album sounds like a final boss that never ends and the music just keeps remixing itself over and over

I love how at 4:26 Jason and Varg actually share a laugh at the absurdity of the songs
