21 Life Rules of The Samurai

I wrote these rules for life after reading the Hagakure By Yamamoto Tsunetomo also known as the Book of The Samurai. Tsunetomo was a samurai during the Saga domain and later became a Zen Buddhist priest. He drew from his experiences to produce a collection of commentaries which were later compiled to create the famous text.
The way of the samurai is a path of ultimate focus, sacrifice and discipline. Their purpose is to serve others by protecting their masters. The qualities of these infamous warriors are truly to be admired. This video gives a peek into the mindset of a samurai so we that we can mirror these concepts in our own lives.

The way of the samurai is found in life and death, one will always die, it's living that takes real courage. If you embark on an uncharted path, infinite secrets will appear at the end. Always have an attitude towards life to strive to be better and allow the nature of spirituality as a path to achieve greatness. The true meaning of the samurai is one who serves and adheres to the power of love and peace. Most importantly, always has to rise and move on, because new challenges will come along the way. One must remain calm at all times, once the will is resolved, one’s spirit is strengthened.
