Love these 'play alongs'! Wish I could actually be there but this is certainly the next best thing. The blend of the Kanile'a Diamond ST and my 'DK ST' sounded so sweet today. I keep wishing that my recording skills were good enough that I could record and play at the same time - but having you guys to play with 'again and again' on-line is such a treat! (and maybe it is still better right now that I try to 'keep it fresh', and just play!) Anyway, thank you , thank you...

If you can match pitches you can learn a song by ear :) A little ear training can go a long way. There are tons of mobile and web apps that can really help. If you have an iOS device, there’s a great app called Chet. It’s free and a great ear training tool. Once you know “how to listen” so to speak, you just need to translate that to your instrument. Once you do it enough, you’ll be like these guys :)

What a great start to a Sunday. Vulfpeck and Bruno acoustic, gorgeous set to kick off and then the swapping of a car for a guitar. Still laughing now. You guys are great. I gave a Volvo away after 500k and having it 15 years, as I had a new car. Volvo drove away, 2 days later my new car broke down. Ta for now and have a great day.

I would rather play my Martin, sounds just as good if not better and cost less.
