I love this build, it’s perfect. I tore down my stroked 302 yesterday for a rebuild. It’s actually beautiful inside especially for sitting for almost 10 years and coming out of a car that was is a garage fire. What a way to start 2023. I’m shooting for 800hp at the crank.

been into cars my whole life im near 60 now and japanes and most especially rotary cars were more than frowned upon ,back when Victor had hes ol Chev at Summernats back wnen Chic was running the entire event the idea of turning up in a rotary would end in a mob of Aussies finest knuckledraggers surrounding the car and just hurl the most disgusting abuse ,with builders and artists like Jay that attitide has changed and for the better ,yes your right ,your no quitter and with help ill be lookin forward to seein this ol RX representing at Summernats ,all the best Jay

That is some bad luck, it sounded amazing and it looks so cool. I hope you can make it in time, I was in a similar situation once and in the end I just couldn't get it done in time and it really sucked after all the work I put in.

Not a rotary fan but that triple sounds killer! My neighbour has a bridge port twin rotor rx7 and the thing shakes the entire street, grinds my gears lol. Shame about the seals but fingers crossed it’ll be sorted in time. Lookin good man

Hey, love your work. The car looks great and awsome its been saved rather than left to rot!. Could you tell me what tig welder you are using please, couldnt quite see it in the video. I presume its a single phase AC/DC, Welds look good! Thanks

Looks like the seals hit a plug or caught debris or the edge of a port.Lucky its carbon and sounds like its gone out the exhaust.Im sure you'll make Summernats.

Carbons are soft and a bit of a consumable but a life saver to housing.A few seals from PRS and its all go.Have fun skidding up Exhibition Park.
