Today I have played a game combine with parents and students together in a show time class. You can also use this game in your regular classes to have a competition between two pairs to practice vocabulary and sentences. And suitable for Open classes, indoor/outdoor activities, teachers meeting, students graduation day etc.
HOW TO PLAY?
Get some recently studied flashcards and write different numbers/points on the back of the cards.
Place all those cards near the wall, with the numbers hidden so nobody can see the points.
Set up two lines of hula-hoops and invite two pairs of students and parents. When the teacher say GO! Bothe the students and parents stand together inside the first hoop, pick it up and raise it over their heads and move to the 2nd, 3rd, and keep going. Whichever pair finishes first is the winner.
They then pick up any flashcard, use it in a sentence, turn the card and win that much points.
