204 Day Time-lapse - Growing Biquinho Chili
Ойын-сауық
Sweet and only slightly hot, these small droplet shaped chilis are delicious. Dropped a few leaves in the beginning and while fruiting, should maybe have been a bit more generous with the fertilizer :)

Just realised it’s the same type as plants I’m growing from seed. They’re taking ages to get going, but are on a par with the development in this lovely video.
🌶️ It's so horizontal, with nice colorful fruits! Liked the slow zoom too! Kiitos! 😎✌️
brilliant chili growing from seed to harvest.❤❤
I love your videos

That is a beautiful plant, definitely worth it. 👍🏾👍🏾
I just found these videos and I'm already in love. Thank you for the content
Great content for plant lovers😌
You gotta do Thai chili pepper! They grow crazy amounts of peppers and grow vertical like a Christmas tree
these chilli's are known here in the uk as pepper drops, they are the sweetest chilli you will ever taste, amazing on pizza

Never heard the term pepper drops (I'm UK too!) Normally roquito™ or biquinho or sometimes chilli pearls. I like pepper drops though!
I love your work
Your videos are simply out of the world. For video enthusiasts like me, it would be great if you could produce a video about the equipment you use, settings etc. TIA.
I find it so fascinating how they continue to cycle through leaves as they grow
thank you for this video. this was 200 days of recording
молодец, что дал жизнь цветку!
So interesting
God I love you so much for this amazing
Pimenta brasileira
Sure youve commenred on your camera set up . But what set up do you use for long term time lapse . How bout a link or video or link to a video . Please
How many times have you changed your camera battery? How long did you leave your camera to record each day(24hrs)? I guess it requires a lot of hard work
Are you clipping the bottom leaves or are they falling off by themselves?

Saguaro cactus next😏

Just realised that "biquinho" is not translated in English, since is a brazilian pepper. It began to be sold where I live, in the early 2000s. 😄
Question…. Do all the plants he videos self pollenating? Or is he manually helping them with pollination and editing that out?
@Boxlapse
Жыл бұрын
i'm manually helping with the pollination. Usually with a fine paintbrush or if the flowers are full of pollen it's enough to just shake the whole plant. And sometimes if the plant is a bit stressed and not producing much pollen, i cross pollinate them with pollen from a different pepper plant :)
"biquinho" chili 🥺🥺

I wonder why it grows so much slower than other peppers

Its a Capsicum chinense, most peppers are Capsicum anuum, anuum grows faster
@vachelliacaven9651

It does not. The plant in the video is lacking nutrients. It barely manages to maintain its leaves for a reasonable time. This is not how this pepper variety would "normally" develop.

@@vachelliacaven9651 yep this plant is STRUGGLING, not normal at all for pepper plants to lose all their leaves like this, i kinda suspect he's giving it way too much light too

Please speak on soil and weather. Growing seeds isn't as easy as you make it look.

It actually is. Human have been growing seeds since 21,000 BC, it's not rocket science.

@@wuttehwutEspecially peppers. They are really robust plants.
Although both are acceptable, "chile" is preferred over "chili"; "chile" is the fruit, "chili" is a meat dish enjoyed in Texas, "chilly" is when it is cold outside. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Mexico_chile#Cultural_impact
