    Once you started spinning you might as well throw the zero to 60 time out the window. There's been times under 6 seconds with EcoBoost you kicked the pooch with that start.

    Hard part for me, with the Tremor, if you want the 360 camera, folding mirrors, upgraded stereo, heated back seats, etc., you need to get 402A and that raises the price almost $12k! Suddenly you're in Raptor territory.

    Yup. I mean they have the right idea by at least offering a lower price variant, but Tremors can get up to $80K with the bells and whistles.

    No the 360 camera and 8 speaker B&O stereo are standard in Tremor. If you want 14 speaker B&O Unleashed, full leather seats with ventilation and rear heating, 4H Auto, and front axle w/ Torsen Diff then yeah you have to get 402A. I do wish they offered the front Torsen Diff as a standalone option for 401A.

    @@tewksburydriver8624 So what if I do? And my point is, the way Ford is selling the Tremor, you cannot pick and choose options as you could in the past. Hence your choice is essentially a base model for roughly $66k or a loaded model for $79k. I've discussed it with the dealer. Love the truck, but I cannot get something in between.

    @@jimmeth7748 … the base model Tremor is a loaded XLT not a barebones truck in anyway. Tremors in the 401A are selling for 62-63k right now. That’s a great truck for the money. Heated back seat, pano roof, 14 speakers etc for the lariat version is imo a waste. Just my opinion of course, but it’s a truck.

Best to wait a few years before buying any new twin turbo motor just go ask Toyota about turbo truck reliability 😅Ford is the only one that's worked all the bugs out of them this far.

Low output heavy metal truck as fast as the high output lightweight aluminum truck. And everything else hands down is better on the #Ram.

    Some 2022 and 2023 trucks lost start/stop due to the chip shortage. I have two 23 F150s without, and a 2024 with. No way am I putting my truck through the start/stop engine lubrication pause (waiting for oil on startup), so I always disable. It will help with fuel economy, but it is not worth the starter and most importantly, extra engine wear. I will just pay for fuel.

    Engines with start stop are designed differently than non start stop engines. They do not suffer from oil starvation on restart like some suspect, in fact they keep waaaay more oil in the top of the engine than they used to and that oil is immediately available for lubrication. It won’t negatively affect the engine. The PCV blowing into the intake sure as hell will though. That’s what I’d be more concerned about.

    He thinks because FCA merged with Peugot, a French auto maker and formed Stellantis that means that Ram trucks are now "French". The stupidity is fascinating. Stellantis is headquartered in The Netherlands, not France. Stellantis is a multi national corporation. The Ram brand is American. The trucks are made in the USA. Even GM and Ford have vehichles made outside the US and the American made vehichles are loaded with foreign parts. All automakers are like this. The toyata tundra is built in texas so is that an American truck or a Japanese truck? The truth is that even the most American made trucks have foreign equitment in them. Engines to transmissions and everything in between.

    @stevendumont4156Ай бұрын

    JB, thanks for your review, but there are holes in your review and will provide you with some things to evenly make your reviews more pertinent. Firstly, you're putting an off-road designed truck (Rebel) against a higher optioned-out Ford F-150 Eco-Boost. There are no details with the Tremor package in this review, compared to the Rebel (which is purpose built) that make it any more an off-roader than the standard off-road F-150 4x4 variant--Tremor upgrades are all exterior/interior stitching eye candy for the most part and are not a purpose-built upgrade. Proof is in the video of the interiors of the two. Secondly, I have read every comment on this post, and most are biased towards Ford, which is expected, and I would say, you're biased toward Ford as well. That is fine as well. However, neither truck was truly tested in its aftermarket and upgraded design form. 0-60 times or mileage is not important here, but their capability. These are off-road capable trucks designed for off-roading. towing, and other utilitarian designs. Make a pertinent video of how these trucks compare in the real world on road and off-road--including the true street variants and the up-and-coming RHO vs. Raptor. vs GM offerings. This comparison is between two amazing trucks. Ford and Ram and the competition is fierce--each brings their own design and pluses, plus unique capabilities. Ram is stepping it up with Hurricane in-line 6 leaving Ford behind in interior design, ride quality, and performance (just look at truck of the year reviews)--the 3.5l V-6 Twin Turbo is great but is dated, just like the Toyota 5.7l. God Bless America, all American truck brands in this segment are awesome and I love each of them! Hope this is a helpful post!

    If you're going to test these trucks you need to do so consistently, it's poor form and makes you look bias when you give one vehicle an advantage over the other "in this case launching the Ford in 2WD and the Ram in 4WD". My stock other than exhaust 2011 F-150 5.0L is a high 6 to low 7 second 0-60 truck. A Modern 10-Speed Ecoboost F-150 is a sub 6 second truck 0-60. If you're going to fairly compare on mileage than you need to do so in performance as well. That blown launch on the Ecoboost cost it over a second in it's performance run.

    Ram all the way Better styling Better interior Better reliability I’m surprised they didn’t have to end the test half way through to tow the ford to the dealer to replace the timing set Like the test between the new Shelby and the demon Mustang kept breaking down and when they finally did the race and the mustang lost they found the body was broken and falling apart . @@nathanmcdonald610 Yes, some Hemi’s do have roller failures on the lifter, but it’s a small percentage. You hear of the failure because there are 10 times the number of Hemi’s on the streets.

    The ram mostly sells the 3.21 axle ratio so the RPM would go down even more

    Hell of a power advantage for the Ram. With the proper tires it kills the Ford!
