FYI, the Scout (69ci - 1133cc) was always a 6 speed since its inception, the Scout 60 (60 ci - 999cc) is a 5 speed.

The Bobber in the Scout line has 1" less suspension travel than the rest of the line. The 101 Scout gets fully adjustable suspension.

Oh and... Good video for me. I enjoyed your perspective. My only ever bike is a Triumph Scrambler 1200. I'm thinking of switching to something more cruiser like and I'm tall too so I'm appreciate you mentioning how it felt.

Since you seem to prefer sport bikes, check out the Indian FTR Sport. It's of the standard naked variety. They are definitely a fun ride.

@pranaytony I was 1000% sure that he was going to wave. It was my first time on a cruiser and my first wave. Even though the guy didn't see me, the fart sound was the let down 🤕

@pranaytony not at all! Yea I'm really tall, but it was comfortable when sitting at stoplights and riding. I'm glad I didn't feel crammed 🙂

You definitely were shifting like its a sport bike. Never even reached 4th gear. Cruisers have a lot of low end torque

Lol live and learn 🤣 I rocked it low in the rpms cruising. I think I just need to remember to shift a little earlier.

The '25 Scout's peak torque is around 6,300 RPM which is higher than you see in most cruisers. The Indian Chief is closer to the norm with its torque peaking around 2,900. Liquid vs Air cooled engine. I think we're going to see more higher revving liquid cooled engines on cruisers. It's all about the power.
