Their design language is off. It’s confused. Genesis doesn’t know who they want to be at the moment.

I love my 2022 GTV70 3.5 Sport Prestige, but if Genesis builds the GV80 coupe...............temptation. Absolutely beautiful, love the wheel design too.........

This is nice. Genesis has another winner on their hands. It has Aston, Bentley, Jag vibes but is more modern and energetic. This is the language they need in their future models and the next round of refreshes.

I started with the 1990 Dimler Double Six Vanden Plas and drove six Jags all my life. You're right. It should have designed and developed these cars in Jag, not Genesis. I'm happy that other brands are continuing their legacy, but on the other hand, it's also bitter. When I look at the Jag whose past reputation has disappeared and only their names remain now, I feel sad that they are as old and their creativity has disappeared as I am.

The fact that you can consistently remember so much information with detail and say it all consistently without stopping or tripping up on your words is awesome. It shows how dedicated you are to your craft. Great review!

Hyundai/Kia and Genesis has been on a massive roll in recent years in regards to design. Definitely putting Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus and Nissan/Infiniti on its heels.

My goodness, i was just talking about upgrading from my G70 to maybe the GV70. I love the G70 and it is so much fun. But even when i traded in my Hyundai Genesis sedan, it took me almost 2 years to pull the trigger because i didn't want to get rid of the size. I do love the G80, but just couldn't find the specifics that i wanted and boom there was this beautiful G70 in the perfect color and the 3.3. So going SUV was never my first choice. But this here is insanely beautiful. And never thought i would go Orange but if i can do the price that this would be, im in and that would have to be the color i get

those wheels... everything looks so good.

I agree but not with blowing up the market , maybe literally.... But Genesis has been largely ignored by the rest of the brands for example Tesla sells more model 3s then genesis sells cars x5. Beautiful cars yes but they aren't disrupting any market

@@HansenSC That has to translate into sales or market share before others really take notice. Particularly the Germans who own the market. Their sales are getting better, but they aren't even remotely comparable in sales to the sales leaders yet.

@@MercOne Genesis is a luxury brand. They can't just win the market over as if flipping a switch. It takes a long time to win the heart of luxury buyers and even longer to get them to open up their wallet since prestige, history, etc is such a big thing for them (rich people care about their appearances more than the regular folks). Genesis is doing a good job and they just need to continue doing a good job and win over buyers little by little. Again, it won't happen over night. It's a marathon.

Infiniti is pretty much dead at this point. Genesis is outselling them and they're doing it from less than luxury Hyundai dealerships in most markets in the US. Infiniti really should be cancelled at this point, they don't offer anything worth mentioning.

I would imagine it'll come standard with the seats in the regular GV80 with the quilted leather. Also, a pano roof should hopefully be there, though I'd like to see the carbon fiber roof as an option with a blacked out carbon package like this one.

This is in the Cayenne segment. Macan is a compact SUV like the GV70.
