It sounds that Bill & Sam just put too much expectation on AI providing good future for the human beings. I think, before we can well manage the desire of power, sex, ..., etc and all we define as negative when too much ., it's too early to expect any good future that AI can manage.

The powerful technological advances that enabled our lifestyle and consumption today have only been made partially available to the mass out of the needs of those who control them. It seems with each step forward in innovations, human production value declines as a consequence. On this trajectory it is not difficult to imagine those few who truly own these advances could one day find the rest of mankind too burdensome to keep around :/

i think the next generation is going to be destroyed by ai. and i wonder if there will still be generations after the next generation. Its like dinasours going to be extinguished age
