Congratulations on the new ZX6R! I picked up a 23 model in black/red back in May. Best upgrade for this bike, hands down, is the Yoshimura A2 slip-on exhaust. Quality and sound compared to all the other slip-ons out there is top notch.

@@BrizzyTV. I actually had an M4 Street Slayer on mine and liked it a lot, but prefer the Yoshimura. Can't go wrong with the M4 TBH. Here is a clip of the Yoshimura exhaust from their website. You can use your GPS on phone and get correct speed motorcycle are set high too help save license

if you are going to just cruise on the highway i would just recommend staying in 6th gear and just cruise if the road is somewhat cleared and traffic is fine and rolling i wouldnt keep the bike in a high gear and keep riding it out in 4th or 5th idk just me maybe but great riding overall

The real question is whether with those modes QS has different cut-off times or is the same as 2019-2022 model.

Gotta shift all the way through the gears especially on the highway. That quick shifter will not fail you so don’t be discouraged to use it. Listen to your engine, watch your rpm’s on the freeway when you’re cruising. We’re all dying for you to shift gears and your bike is too!! Drop a gear to disappear.. otherwise get all the way up the gears and save gas money bruh!! Great riding !

A helmet mic (a mic connected to your go pro and routed into your helmet) would work best for what your trying to achieve

Your lane position could use some work. When you’re in the far left lane, you wanna be in the right side of the lane, all other lanes, you wanna be in the left side of the lane to keep yourself visible

Not when turning. When you're turning, you must stay close to the curb. Reason being; if you turn wide, and someone is behind you, they could not realize you're turning and collide with you. I would fail my motorcycle test if I turned from the outside.

I heard u mention cruise control but it’s not an option on this bike considering it’s more track oriented

Came here to say this. You should definitely look it up bc HOV is safer. You have the shoulder if an idiot crosses the double line. My state isn't motorcycle friendly, and they even allow bikes to be in toll lanes for free or HOV lanes.

Zx6rs have better power higher in the rpm range. Yes you can go into 6th in low speed and bog the engine but that's not what you buy a zx6r for. I doubt you have even riden a supersport in your life judging by the comment.

Such a sick bike. Nice job and congrats. You're riding in too low of a gear, and going to increase engine wear, and burn a hole in your wallet. Always stay in 6th when cruising on the highway. Downshift when needed.

What is the avg gas mileage at 7000 revs in 6th? Thanks for the great content

Just up, the down thing is a different piece called “ blipper” and if the bike doesn’t have “ ride by wire” it doesn’t have it..

I dont know if its just me but if you are cruisin at 70+ mph you should kick it up to 5th gear bro. I think you are burning gas more than you should being at 4th gear or at least I can hear your bike screaming to be on 5th gear.

Break in period is more for the dealer than it is for you and that bike because if something comes loose after 600 miles and falls off your at fault if you ride it hard out of the gate and something happens their responsible I always tighten down everything after I buy a new bike. I’ve had my headers be so loose there hand tight. If you’re going to ride it hard, ride it hard off the lot from the rip They’ve actually done study if you baby a bike during the break in period and then ride it hard. They’ve noticed little less horsepower did a bike that’s been broken in on a dyno with 0 miles on it

If wind is bothering you and you dont wanna lay on your gas tank scoot your butt back a bit and straighten your back leaning forward just a bit you will feel like you look funny but the wind will glide right by you

Dawg there’s no power in the bottom of 6th at 80, it was SUPER windy and I needed that power on tap so I can accelerate through potential winds

$4,000 trade in for a 2022 ninja 400, that's ridiculous. You probably paid $7,000. $3,000 loss + your mods = expensive mistake. You coulda sold the bike on Facebook marketplace for at least $6k.

No thats a fair price, I paid about 6k for mine brand new. Typically, mods don't raise the value. If you wanna get extra for upgrades you have to replace the stock parts and sell the parts separately. Or you can sell the stock parts
