When we cut the cord last March, my wife had a list of nine channels she needed. YT TV was missing four of those channels (History, Science, Reelz, AXS TV). Hulu/LIve TV and Fubo were also missing four channels (Science Channel required a $7.99 add-on for both). Sling Blue plus their Total TV package ($61/mo total) had all nine channels plus a handful of other channels that were not critical but nice to have. That's the direction we went with.

FYI - I have learned that, while Fubo "includes" RSN's it then adds (with no choice to avoid) an RSN fee of appx. $15.00/month, which brings its actual monthly price much closer to Direct TV stream's price (within $5 - $10/month). Since DTV also includes the unlimited storage, more screens and several other channels Fubo lacks, I'm planning to use DTV stream.

It’s a good thing CSI is on KZread TV because their price is a crime $72 per month wake up

Fubo charges extra for the regional sports networks. Even if you don’t watch them.

I have Hulu currently and I don’t like it. It’s too hard and cumbersome to navigate and watch. I’m probably going to drop them and go to KZread.

Not sure why they cant understand that they have to stay cheaper than your average cable package in order to stay in business. Might just be me though. I have been told that I am one of those "boomers" who don't understand how things work these days. I guess it could make sense if you can be content watching TV on a screen that is 5 inches wide (phone). As a boomer I am going to find it amusing when I start seeing antennas on top of everyone's house again just like back in the 70s

You Failed To Mention, Fubo Don`t Have The Turner Networks.

YTTV DVR has no episode limit... DirecTV has a 30 episodes limit, then it starts deleting the older episodes to add new ones.

I had KZread tv first. It’s required my location to watch some sports a lot which I found annoying. I canceled it and didn’t have live tv for a while. I had switched to Hulu tv a year after. I found sports were inconsistent. While I was deployed last year. I wanted away to watch sports while I was out of the country and Fubo was the answer. With a vpn. I was able to watch. The vpn didn’t even have to be located in my area in the us as I live in a rural part. Just need a vpn connection with the location in the USA

What about the comparison of buying "direct studio instreaming apps" like Disney Plus, Paramount Plus, Peacock, amd WB Max vs a "cable-like streaming package.". Subscribing to those 4 channels is something like $25 a month with ads or $50 a month ad fres combined. What is the difference between an all-in-one vs direct studio package? Why os there no comparison between direct studio apps and all in one apps?

I'd assume it has to do with the lack of sports and local coverage in most of those apps. Not that its impossible to include that in certain scenarios, but really the only thing i could think of.

You said sports is missing (Locals you can get by a Regular Antenna. Amd best of all. It costs $0 a month once it's installed and working) if you go with studio apps vs cable-like packages. I assume if you go with the reverse, you're missing streaming exclusives. Is all the retro and current content the same? And the million dollar question: any difference between direct studio and cable-like for the 3d TV owner? I know Dish has only Pay-per-views in 3d. No 3d broadcasts. No 3d on demands. Searching Dish, I got some hits for the term 3D, but no confirmed 3d Content (as in stereoscopic content). I concluded Dish has no 3d. Which is better for 3D? studio Apps or Cable-like? Another oddly strange thing is: Why would Dish buy a Cellular network to facilitate the T Mobile / Sprint merger, and then not offer home-based cellular data? I wouldn't wish satellite internet on Osama Bin Laden. Dial up is better that satellite. At least dial up has Dreamcast.

He makes it sound like you can only record for free up to 9 months. This is not the case, you can only store recordings for up to 9 months then they will drop off or expire. You do not have to pay for storage after 9 months. Its all in the way people word it.

Has your opinion changed on Fubo since they recently cancelled 19 channels??

Fubo just got rid of SNY so no Mets games! I had to switch to DIRECTV plus it has a ton more channels like Reelz

If you live in the New York area and need yes network and msg Hulu doesn’t carry it. So no Knicks, rangers and yankee games. Fubo has that if that’s what you want.

I hate this because my mom lives in SoCal and I live in NorCal and i wanted to give her my password so she can watch whatever she want.

You still need to pay for Internet access so you need to figure that into the price.

Just a clarification to save you money. Unless you are doing something exceptional (gaming), you do not need more than the base internet package. Stop wasting money on high bandwidth that you will never use, just pure profit for them. You are not likely to go over 100mbps, and typically the base package is 300mbps. A HD stream is about 10-15mbps. 4 streams is about 60mbps. DO NOT waste money on some gigabit or 2 gigabit package that is "supposed to make your connection faster". Example: Pretend your data needs are 299.999mbps (just under 300). If you have 300mb service, you experience no delays. If you have 1gb service, you experience no delays If you have 2gb service you experience no delays. If you have 999,999,999tb (terabyte ) service, you experience no delays. Stop wasting money on high bandwidth you will never use.

I have Hulu life but it will only let me watch live tv on one tv. Why? I thought two could stream.

You can purchase a Firestick or Roku pretty cheap to hook up to your tv if you don’t have a smart tv to use these streaming services.

I have KZread TV but I absolutely will not tolerate racism! That's the reason why I love President Trump and Melania is a LEGAL immigrant that became a US citizen. She speaks 6 languages. She's phenomenal! My question is...how does KZread TV support racism ? I will drop them in a heartbeat! United States is primarily for Blacks and Whites and of course any nationalities born on our US soil. This is our Country! Actually the US welcomes any nationalities as long as they're US citizens. I just purchased Hulu so I can watch Formula One racing because I don’t have cable anymore. Never really used cable so I figured why bother paying for it. Hulu is pretty annoying because it has commercials which I think is absolutely ridiculous. I’m paying monthly for a service and you’re bombarding me with stupid commercials? Seriously🙄

Look up F1TV. Official streaming service from Formula 1 themselves. They give you access to F2 and F3, as well as Porsche Supercup races. No ads at all during races.
