Depends on the tournament and how many bigs you're registering with. If it's a soft field I don't like it. Get there and accumulate.

@@mikehergenroether6160 I agree if it’s below a 1k you will have so many soft spots and catch a few punts and build early. By super late reg and less than 20 bbs I won’t even play if I have to come in that late

AJ suited is a fold for me most of the time, but you did say a "habitually shover". I lean towards a call against a loose player.

Spoiler blocker 22:47 My gut reaction was to pitch it as well... send Mr. Jackson back to Beverly Hills in that spot. Best case scenario would be that villain decided that he didn't want to play anymore and that you would be the recipient of a booming punt down the field. Highly unlikely. A step up from there is a spicy shove with Ace-low suited for the 70-30 or KQ suited for the 60-40, still not so likely, but perhaps player-dependent if you saw prior indications. Another step up from there is the 45% sweat against an underpair. Now we're starting to get into the meat of the bell-curve, definitely more frequent than the previous holdings. Still gotta get there though, you're behind after all. But really, how often do we just see villain roll over the bad news... JJ, QQ, KK, AQ, AK, AA, just in brutal shape. Sometimes it feels like it happens every time. Perhaps an imbalance in we see in live poker? Who knows, I'm just another armchair QB spewing from the mouth. Thanks again Boski, looking forward to episodes 3 and beyond.

can't tell you how important having great audio is for any blogger and you've got some extremely loud audio on my Bluetooth it's like too much because it's not music or anything

Unless you’re desperate, I never shove with a weak ace- if someone calls, they will usually have a pair or a better ace. I’d rather shove with 23 than A3.

pretty much my favorite events 2021 went deep in both had a stack of bounties in both and got busted by the same guy in both and a sick spot in both… Before the first one Me and Ryan DiPaolo were the only two people late, I was late on purpose and you could see me hitting my puffco peak on the Ryans Vlog

Had to rewatch the QQ hand. A9 suited for 16bb is a loose call...MAYBE. A snap call unsuited is insane. At best, you have two live cards vs an under pair. Boski has every right to be sour about that one.
