I recently heard in one of your podcasts where bilal mentions something about some companies that provide workers comp loans if so is there any way you can provide details about those agencies?

Hello, thanks for your comment. I don't recall this conversation, are you referring to the companies who don't have workers' comp and if they get an injured worker the state woudl step in and cover the injured worker though a state fund that is designed to help injured workers in leu of thei employer not having workers' comp insurance? - Carmen

I asked Bilal if he remembered, he said there are companies that provide litigation advances, but he highly recommends not using them because their interest rates are predatory.

@@heyits9 there is a difference what is considered disabled in workers compensation and social security. It took me 2 years to qualify ssdi, and it is normal for ssdi to deny you first two times. I got a ssdi lawyer after the first deny. I highly recommend it to get one and see what is their opinion of your injury.

Thanks for answering, but the decision is not up to the employer, it's the workers' comp insurance who pays. They don't always have to settle either.

I was approved for total knee replacement bilateral. What is the Value of my case. The QME said it's work related and I been on my job for 22 years in a grocery distortion center. I made over 31 dollars a hour and I'm 54 years old. My case was denied for the last 18 months. Please give me your estimated opinion . Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the comment, we can't give an estimated value to your case because there are more components that come into play when determining the value. Every case is different and once you are given your impairment rating in %, they will use that with the rest of you info to determine your case value.
