2024 Volvo V60 Polestar Engineered Test Drive Review: One Of A Kind Wagon
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The 2024 #Volvo #V60 Recharge #Polestar Engineered is the only station wagon of its kind. It's a plug-in hybrid that offers 40 miles of EV range, but it also delivers 455 hp with 0-60 in just 4.4 seconds. The V60 doesn't appeal to a wide market, but it's extremely cool for wagon lovers.

I got a Thunder Grey one last week. Love it. It’s crazy to me that this is the ONLY plug in hybrid wagon you can buy in the USA. I don’t like big SUV, and my first car was a 1986 Volvo 240GL wagon, great car and put 248k miles on in, so I’m glad to have this wagon and really hope Volvo doesn’t abandon wagons in the US!
"if you're just not willing to drive a station wagon..." sounds like crazy talk to me
The wagon I'd buy if I had the scratch. Nice review.
Great looking wagon!
I actually like the compact size. And the fact that it’s compact wagon. IMO it looks good and sporty. I like that it’s a plug in hybrid, probably because I live in a condo and I can’t park it in a driveway and charge it at home. I still think there’s a place and market for plug in hybrid’s and hybrid vehicles and not only electric cars The interior looks good and sporty. I do wish though that the screen is bigger and that the vent’s were placed differently so that the screen would be wider. Here in Europe the wagon isn’t dead yet. But like in the States the wagon has become less popular over the last 20 years or so. SUVs and CUVs has become more and more popular and therefore pushed the wagon down in popularity
I don’t know if a wagon will be practical for Florida roads it’s quit long I see this cars more for areas where I would have to drive long distance and not to much traffic
Sold my V60 Polestar after 50,000 miles. It's a great car in concept, but it had WAY too many problems. Auxiliary heater failed three times. The sideview mirrors needed an exorcist. The center touch screen just took a dump one day. ($3,300 repair) I couldn't handle how much time this car spent in the shop, which is a shame because when it works, it's an awesome car.

What did you replace it with?

@@simstu2 A 2021 Mazda 6. Not quite as fast or as capable as the Volvo, but sporty, comfortable, well appointed, and best of all, it hasn't been back to the dealership since I bought it! And I put $14,000 back in my pocket. Overall I am pleased with the swap, though I still mourn that the Volvo wasn't built better.
Отличная тачка для знающих автолюбителей
❤❤❤
sadly, volvo has gone monochromatic. Even the few colours they offer are muted to the point of being a shade of gray. I find it funny that 4.2 seconds to sixty is no longer considered "fast". That is the same time as a Mustang GT.
Don’t forget the Audi A4 wagon is still sold in the States! Same size.

@@carbuzzcom and? It’s literally an Audi a4 wagon.

But it’s not a plug in hybrid.
What’s the tow rating?

It's not rated for towing
It is not to difficult to see that who purchase SUV's are basically purchasing a lifted wagon with a higher CG and grafted in extra mass and weight, the very things that nullify performance, handling and waste fuel.
