I found your channel in 2023 and used it extensively for a recent trip to Italy. Your videos provided lots of great information about stuff that we may have missed. During our stop in Florence, we went to the central market twice. During the second visit we sat at a counter, had pasta, etc and just took it all in. At the end of the visit my wife said, '"thank you for that experience." That was all you, it was based on your videos and recommendations that our self guided trip was such a success. Really looking forward to you videos on Japan, as that is on the list of places to go. Thanks for all you do, it does have a positive impact.

I needed that video. I've been watching your videos for a while, and you answered a lot of the questions I had about you and how you live and work. I was intrigued as I learned you are based in Florence, and you spoke of Milan, Lake Como and Lucca, and the Dolomites, all places a friend and I are planning to visit this autumn.

Like your style, Gregor. I knew of you as a cycling journalist before the whole KZread thing began. Actually saw you in a cafe in Nimes during the 2019 TdF. Now I enjoy your vids as you travel in way that I can relate to. And your travel tips can actually be quite helpful. As far as any negative comments... sadly that's just part of KZread. Try your best to ignore the cranky people out there and focus on the good ones. You're never going to make everyone happy no matter what you say or do, so just be yourself. Change of subject - I always enjoy your coffee stops. Along those lines, as you know, craft brewing has really evolved in the US over the past couple of decades. Thankfully the days of only Bud, Coors, etc. are long gone. I've noticed during my last few euro trips that US style craft breweries/tap houses seem to be a bit more common there. While they've always had good beers there, the whole craft/tap house concept seems to be growing. Is it similar is Asia??? Maybe do a beer tour somewhere along the way to share with us? Could be a win/win. Beer or no beer, keep up the good work.

On the topic of coffee stops, I'm with you on the evolution of craft brewing. It's exciting to see how the craft beer scene is expanding in Europe, mirroring the growth we've seen in the US. In Asia, the craft beer movement is indeed growing, with unique local flavors and styles emerging. A beer tour sounds like a fantastic idea for a video - it would be a great way to explore and share the diverse beer cultures. Thanks for the suggestion! For those that don't know: Gregor is the best English language pro. cycling journalist on the tour. All the top athletes in the sport know him, and he asks the most intelligent questions in multiple languages. Flow bikes scored big time adding him to their broadcast team. I don't know him at all. He just continually stood out and above the rest for me. I actually went looking for him on you tube because I wasn't getting enough of his commentary. ( I don't subscribe to flow sports. They are way overpriced in my opinion/budget) I am so happy to find him here and as a cycling vacationer his travel insights are a delight. Have a great 2024 season. And happy travels.
