In this video we go over my driving impressions and review of the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Platinum Hybrid Max finished in the Cloud Gray with the Portobello leather interior. The Grand Highlander is all new for 2024 and shares the same platform with the Lexus TX. Despite this, there are several differences between the two vehicles. Both vehicles have the 2.4l Turbo 4 cylinder as standard but the standard Hybrid is exclusive to the Grand Highlander while both also share the Hybrid Max powertrain. The Grand Highlander Platinum Hybrid Max is the most expensive trim of the Grand Highlander which comes in just over $60k. Although it is missing a few key features I would expect to see in a vehicle of this price and segment, the interior is very nice with good features and technology. A few months ago, no one in my city had even seen one. Getting this vehicle was nearly impossible and the dealers used to have a large markup on it. Has it changed?

I would believe this has changed however the Hybrid Max is likely still in high demand. I don't know for a fact but I do see more and more of these driving around with and without the Hybrid powertrain.

The EV9 is really cool. But, for the top-of-the-line model price, I would rather go with the GH and save $10k, or the Lexus TX for the same price. If it dollar for dollar, the Toyota/Lexus will hold way more resale value and be way more reliable.
Nissan Pathfinder review would be nice.
