I own my first corolla now for about a year. The best car I ever had. Everything just makes sense. Hard to explain to someone who does not own one. I was like that before. Didn't understand why would someone want to buy one.

I have had the 2.0 GR Sport since 2020 and its been a great all round car. I agree with most of your remarks. I particularly like the active cruise and lane keep assist, it does so much for the driver and makes longer journeys much easier. Thanks for the review

Had the 2021 Corolla Touring Sports Hybrid as a rental in white. SUPERB CAR 50euros in gas in 2 weeks everyday use! I just wished it had more HEADROOM

I'm interested by this car but i don't like the central console, the gear lever is too big. I think I should wait the next version. Has it retractable mirrors ? I We put D after R, the camera view stays a few seconds ?

Is there any chance that you will do a more detailed review of these infotainment systems? It is specifically about cooperation with Android phones and iPhones. Apparently, in the new Honda Civic Android Auto is horribly lags? I do not know how important it is for people but I think that nowadays the smooth operation of these systems is important.

Dan, quick question. What's the fuel consumption when you drive at 100 kmh?

Beautiful car but one defect (no damping of the door and wheel arch, which causes noise at higher speed. after purchase you need to do the damping on your own. besides, you can not have reservations, very good car.)

People who buy this brand knows that "defect", because that's what Toyota does for ages. So nothing new 🤷🏼‍♂️

can't say I really enjoy how Toyota cars look but ive always had Toyotas and I will always have Toyotas (if they will still produce reliable cars) They are most reliable cars and spare parts are cheap compared to the other car manufacturers so you will be saving a lot of money with Toyotas.

The Exel model is much quieter it has acoustic glass

Could you make a little comparison to the 1.8?

the main problem with this car, is when you accelerate, the engine is a little bit too noisy

How could they build a car with full option and no sound deadening, it's crazy

This car or the Peugeot 308 SW ? Can´t decide.

Corolla I would say. I have a new 308 SW gt hybrid leased, and is underwhelming. Poor gas economy, software is SUPER buggy. The drive assist is annoying as it does keep constant speed well, the gearbox is awful, you notice it a lot even in pure ev. I’m trying to decide between a Corolla touring or something else as I’ll return the 308 as soon as I can.

I had previously the ICE version only, and all the comment remain the same, 2 years passed and the same software bugs remain :( (for instance once in a while it wont show me speed info 🤷‍♂️ or gas tank info, which could be enervating as there is no way to reset or force it to start…plus, sometimes applecar just wont work, neither wirelessly nor plugged) But, economically it was ok, on long trip i could do around 800km with one deposit (but it has a bigger tank than the corolla, 53L if I remember correctly)

@@Alejandro-nu4rk you must have got a Monday car 😉. The bugs will surely have been fixed by now. Actually, I've only heard good things about the 308 SW. Quality-wise, it's definitely on a higher level than the Corolla. At least on the inside.

Man why don't we get corolla like this in US? corollas here are so ugly
