The Bronco does have one option that my new 2023 4Runner does not have - recalls. I'll take my 4Runner over any Bronco as I know it will be around a long time.

Oops, they forgot to mention that the Bronco has the available front locker, as well as the rear. Plus the sway bar disconnect button. Those things make the Bronco more capable off road than the 4Runner. Obviously this video is produced by Toyota, so it is very biased.

2024 4Runner. Same as 2016 4Runner. Increased price. Better hope the update comes in '25 and is worth it...

@lorenzosorice have you actually seen the cloth? It's not cheap ass fabric you'll find in a chevy. It's super dope and honestly can't see a diff in production cost between softex and the high end textile cloth seats so I think it was a nod to the retro LC. We'll see. Either way, I haven't seen anything from toyota I haven't liked yet.

I love the new Broncos but I will never get rid of my 4runner. There's just something about a bulletproof proven platform that doesn't lose its value Like most other domestic brands do. I'll take anything made in the Tahara factory over anything that comes out of a domestic brand!

Does this comparison hint that the 2025 4Runner will have removable top and doors and 35’s? And that Toyota will take it directly to Ford and Jeep? 🙏

The two door bronco looks pretty awesome. The clearance and stock tire sizes makes it the right choice for my neck of the Rockies. The yota will probably last longer though it will seldem make it onto any trails.

I wanted the 4Runner but no Manual option killed it for me. They are dependable, but boring. Looks the same. If they option a manual and update the styling would switch from the bronco. Maybe...

You can plainly notice the 2-door Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch package with lux pack and capable bumper in this photograph shown at 5:25 link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/emGr1ayOpdfKl5M.html. The gray front grille, which does not have a significant bend, helps to identify it. Kindly make the correction. Also demonstrate the great resolution of the Ford 360 camera as comparison to the 4-runner restricted 360 camera. Give us a fear comparison, please. Thoughtful video thank you Toyota. both brands have some goodiesss... :)

Both are very capable vehicles in their class. A better comparison would be 4 Runner to Pathfinder or Blazer. The 4 Runner easily out classes those. The Bronco is better compared to the JL Jeeps. I am not hating on the 4 Runner. It is a great off roader and great on roader. I am waiting patiently for the 2025 model. However, when it comes to capable vehicles, my Wild Trak 2 door Bronco out wheels any 4 Runner that isn't heavily modded.

"Better" is an opinion. The fact is your Bronco doesn't have the durability or reliability of the 4Runner. 20 years from now the 4Runner will still be rolling, and your Bronco will be in the repair shop or junkyard.

I know that I am behind enemy lines here. Regardless, comparing a 4 runner and a Bronco is like comparing a GT500 and a Mustang GT. Both are great at their job, but you cannot compare their performance without major mods to the mustang GT ( I have had ALL of these vehicles, I am not a rabid Bronco fan). @@deathevokation1017

@@steveb8883 4Runner performance is it's near bulletproof engine, tranny, and overall mechanics. Simplicity and excellent craftsmanship is why Toyota barely updates the 4Runner, and it still sells. As for mods, unless one is doing serious off roading it's a waste of money. I get around fine during Midwest winters in my TRD All Pro.

​@steveb8883 Your wild track is a very amazing and capable rig. Without a doubt. and the 4runner is honestly not far behind in terms of capability off-road. But for whatever reason Toyota still refuses to give us front lockers and standard 35 inch tires from the factory. If they did that, then I would say they would be much more comparable.

That is what I am talking about. We are really hoping the 25 model 4 Runner is as bullet proof as the prior models. The Bronco is built for a different reason than the 4 Runner though. I just came back from the Ozarks and would not have taken a stock 4 Runner where I went. I need both front and rear lockers and the 35s were barely enough. I also would never take my Bronco to places that a Rubicon on 40s would go. But I would go where any stock JL could go. @@deathevokation1017

I am waiting when will TOYOTA make 2 doors Compact SUV with full options. (Example-2door Prado 2.5cc, 4wheel, 20 inch alloy wheels.)I am sure that will be best seller.

I love 4 Runner but this comparison is completely untrue. Bronco, is not reliable but it's off road goodies, its 14 inch monitor, cameras and entertainment systems, off road tires, kicks 4 Runner's but. Hopefully 2025 we will see an updated 4 Runner, May be even a 2 door version. I am waiting! I will buy nothing but a Lexus or Toyota.

They aren't that different. The bottom line will always be price. If I can get the Ford or Toyota price is what matters when comparing apples to apples.

No comparison. The 4Runner will still be driving around when the Bronco is recycled into pop cans.

@@deathevokation1017agreed, but for some reason it gets to me when car manuacters compare their cars to other ones, like that GMC sierra commercial where the people carried F-series parts and chanted "Ford.... Goodbye!" then showcase the sierra. Hyundai does this a bit too much. They compare their Ioniq6 to the tesla model 3. They compare their palisade to the toyota highlander. They compare their elantras to camries. I have nothing against this, it just always seemed rude to me for some reason. Especially if it's on the automaker's youtube channel

Ford is a rolling pile of garbage. Toyota is the king of reliability. Even their toys. I had this wooden toyota corolla my mother bought me at 1993, it never broke untill 1997 when some kids from my street stole it when i forgot it outside. Skip to my adult hood after knowing the truth about cars i'm never gonna buy other brands than toyota. If i will have a sustainable income i will only buy toyotas & if i become rich i would buy only lexus as my luxury line up
