I like napoli I run her with de revel with full secondaries build and 4 heals lol a beast.im going to try to get zao because I do wana try her out .and I have max al atago commander Zao is super accurate thats why her dpm is better then des Moines be dm dispersion isn't that good when hitting cruisers and dds Dm has food pen angles but not great ap pen

I feel like every1 sleeps on the ijn heavy cruiser ap, even when i was grinding the tech tree the ap would cit battleships at 10 km.

I started her after watching your last live stream. I have to grind the tech tree but I'm enjoying it

Totally agree on Haven, I've had some great games on it but a lot of the time it results in really stagnant and predictable gameplay.

As they announced the zaō I was very hyped but after I saw that u need ships from seven of the nine nations (im a bit newer to the game only have the ijn tech tree full) my motivation for this ship was shattered and thrown away

Got the Yoshino in a Christmas crate and have been enjoying the hell outta it. I play the Stalingrad and Yoshino everyday…they’re that enjoyable. But it is squishy. Close to unlocking the Zao…got Commander Azuma…but wanna try the AP red headed. Great game as always…I love that spot with the Stalingrad.

@@babutaterbuggrimm6678I probably bought like 50 and the only notable things I got were the Alabama and Plymouth. I was mad at first but they’re both great ships. I really really wanted ochakov and kirisame but after so many crates it just didn’t feel worth it to spend anymore.

I was just about to get salem (what a grind) when I realized I was about finished with the zeo bureau project ,now keep in mind I was obsessed with getting salem so when I started playing zeo I thought to my self damm I like zeo better way better. And please don't say nurff 😂

Got it fir a few days now i like it so far. Damage racks up quickly

Got my Zao this morning. The guns are fantastic. Both AP and HE shreds, and they are scarily accurate. I use the range mod in slot 4 over the reload mod, and I've been hitting 11/12 shell salvos on DDs. I dont like the torpedo angles but the range and damage is really good too. So far, enjoying Zao way more than other LT cruisers besides Napoli.

@@gghhgghhgghhgghh I... Guess... But the main point of the range mod over reload is a) range and b) not killing turret traverse. Japanese cruisers turret traverse speed is in the slow end and really hampers them in mid to close range fights as you very likely will out turn the turrets as you wiggle. Zao is no different. Zao also has pretty short default range so pushing that out increases the gap where you can maneuver without being spotted and still remaining influential to the match. It also has the added bonus of making you harder to hit by virtue of the extra range. Really important IMO with Zao seeing as like all IJN cruisers she's made from explodium. For those reasons I think the range mod is more effective than the 1 second the reload mod saves.

I can agree with everything said here but man 30mil credit is rough when Henry can do pretty much the exact same things as Zao, that's my opinion though, my personnal go to is Napoli but that's just me i find it to be the funniest ship in the game, you should make a video on that one too And as for your spawn questions i like the ones we got, players already go reverse i don't want the same situations as PC, and pushing agressivly in a cap with a BB would be pretty much impossible, that's just my opinion

Make sure you won the battle, if you lose it doesn't count. Also has to be in standard or AI. No training room

Reminds me kf an amagi game where like you i took no dmg the entire match only got 4 kills not 6 same map as well.

Island cover is how ijn cruisers always got high damage numbers, at the cost of hoping your team can tank damage, wondered why it took so long for zao to come out but its the same boring gameplay even though i love my ijn cruisers And i always love how people sleep on their AP its always funny running mogami or ibuki and slapping a cruiser who wants to delete me with 4-6 citadel hits from my front guns

I suppose not for me, I played most of the tech line agile in open water. Changed tactics with Ibuki and Zao. I've compared stats of both. Comparable WR, damage, and XP

@@DerkaGames both can work, its the teammates and reds that just sail the thing broadside to get all their guns off that leads to early death, so hopefully you pointing it out helps with that 👍🏽

Zao is my favorite LT ship right now the average damage is over 150k highest so far 240ish but a loss, can't carry in Zao need the team alive? And that's harder than you would think in LT 😱👀

I do believe that the rest of the LT BBs except Ohio should need a buff on the health department to 1.Compete against Ohio. 2 Survive at least one more torp from Shima and 3. For WG to finally release Kremlin and Vermont to the game. I'm using Zao with Haguro.

@@alexanderkarl1344 The only thing WG can do is give the rest of the LTBBs their PC health pool because Ohio haves it and a couple of months ago Alaska got its PC health pool so its safe to say that most of the LT BBs could need it except Bourgogne and Schlieffen.

I l9ve this ship but I do better in the azuma or yoshino...I have to keep in mind this ship is squishy with some decent armor...so I think I play a little agressive...as for agility it's ok...the ships sheer size makes that tough...I do better in abuki as an agile....I do wonder why I like playing ijn cruisers

@DerkaGames DDs are also becoming high risk...tough to play them now...I started playing cruisers almost exclusively now for that very reason as well...and the more agile the better! That's kinda my thing..

This ship can get expensive to acquire ..... 30M to start ... then, if you don't have the whole ijn cruiser line it is another 40M on top of that .....

Every time I See a Zao, I make sure I full Salvo 457mm/460mm AP Shells at Zao to take it out asap...

Poor of consumables the Zao is... but still a strong and weak ship. For me, i had this ships against me, and it was a bit difficult to counter. But my Napoli managed to save me.

I really don't think nerfing ships is the answer. I would rather weaker ships receive buffs to make them competitive with stronger vessels. Nothing feels worse than having your favorite ship nerfed. While on the other hand, nothing feels better than having a weak ship you used to play or would like to play getting buffed.
